What do people think of this? Is it just necessary despite the obvious anti-social impact? Is there an ideal middle ground? Some of these seem doable in a legitimate way that adds value, but it mostly appears to be forms of spam being advised.
Parasite SEO: 11 sneaky ways to get on page 1 of Google in 2-3 weeks👇 Parasite SEO means hacking Google by posting content, written in a special way, on websites Google and ChatGPT already trust, so they show and cite you 1/ Write about next year before anyone else -> Nobody has written “best X 2027” yet. The first good page usually takes the top spot and keeps it 2/ Publish a “research paper” about your niche on arXiv or Zenodo -> These are free research sites ChatGPT trusts. A paper like “The best office chairs for back pain” can become the source it quotes 3/ Launch a free Chrome extension -> Every extension gets its own page in Google’s Chrome store with a link to your site, and that page can show up on Google 4/ Write short LinkedIn articles -> Under ~330 words with the answer at the top. LinkedIn articles are the #1 source for Gemini and Google AI Overview answers 5/ Publish job listings with your brand name and no link -> Applicants search your brand name on Google to find you. The more people search for you, the more Google trusts you 6/ Buy an old website in your niche -> It already shows up on Google. Point its pages to your site and you take over its spots 67/ Make a spreadsheet that shows up on Google -> Make a “Best X tools 2026” table in Google Sheets with your brand first and click Publish to web. Now it’s a public page on Google’s own site 8/ Hide a keyword in your LinkedIn article’s web address -> LinkedIn creates the web address from your first title and never changes it. Title it “YourBrand: the best AI SEO tool”, publish, then change the title. The address keeps the keyword 9/ Publish 10 Gamma presentations -> Gamma is a free slides app, and every deck you publish becomes a web page Google can show. Make 1 deck per search, like “best CRM for dentists”, with a link to your site 10/ Publish a free page on GitHub -> GitHub is a site developers trust, and Google shows its pages fast. Great for tools and tech products 11/ Answer popular Quora questions that have almost no answers -> Search Google for site: quora “your topic” “1 answer”. Thousands of readers, only 1 other answer to beat Prepared by growth hackers at Ryze AI, the AI agent for paid ads and SEO/GEO

If you are new to procedural generation within game dev, here is a great starting point on how to leverage noise!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This infographic is AI-generated and mislabels several noise functions and their visual outputs. The post author acknowledged the graphic was generated by AI: x.com/slashskill_/st… A breakdown of the inaccuracies is detailed here: x.com/XorDev/status/…

I made a free reading-practice web app for young kids, Satpin. It now has 100 short lessons that follow the structure of Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. Runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or Kobo, no account. satpin.scrylabs.io

There is an E-ink theme so it runs in the Kobo web browser: black on white, no colour, no animation. Turn on sync on the phone, type the code on the e-reader, and both keep the same progress.

Outside the lessons there is plain practice by level: s a t p i n, more sounds, blends, tricky words, five-letter words, then sentences. For each one you tap Read, Sounded out or Told.

If you haven't checked out the output from QRI's latest HEART retreat, do! Lot's a of really cool PDP models (Parameterized Dynamic Phenomenology) trying to replicate exotic states of consciousness, like the Jhanas and 5-MeO-DMT, in an attempt to better understand and communicate the fundamentals of consciousness and valence. The world is in a transition of integrating science and spirituality; ideally grounding the esoteric in the mathematical and empirical and testable, making such insights and states more accessible to the many. It's a long road, but QRI is putting in the work. May we realise that new paradigm of consciousness that the world is asking for, for the benefit of all beings. 🙏 heart.qri.org
I have something to announce. We ran a study to compare the jhānas to 5-MeO-DMT. This was an ambitious undertaking by the Qualia Research Institute @QualiaRI , friends and collaborators. For practically all of May and June, a group of handpicked extraordinary people gathered in Tepoztlán, México: physicists, psychologists, neuroscientists, phenomenologists, advanced meditators, meditation researchers, philosophers of mind, and visual artists specializing in psychedelic replication. It span over two dozen participants and eight weeks: instrument building, ten days of jhāna practice across three meditation sites, a week of 5-MeO-DMT, and then time to integrate and putting the pieces together to figure out the puzzle of consciousness. We're now releasing the first tranche of what came out of it ♥️ Here is an example output: every animation we rated (comparing J1 and J3), in a tool where you can visualize the affinity of each animation to any two pairs of specific jhāna states and/or 5-MeO-DMT dose levels. heart.qri.org/retreats/2026-…

Increasingly feeling like theres little reason to run other peoples code unless its something really unique and special. For any basic tool or utility app, better to just make my own, it takes about 1-5 minutes speaking what I want, and 1-30min later its ready to go.

Increasingly BORED of meditation and psychology stuff. We need formalization, we need better theory, we need more studies, we need more experimentation. “There is no self” , “tanha is this fast grabby thing” KILL MEEEE. Imagine if biology talked like this still — “disease is when your four humors get out of balance” ?? just mega abstractions that are unreliable. Where’s the formalization of this stuff for repeatable results?? this is something im working on in my book 'Internal, then External' and I think it's an important problem.
