Another bad Australian CPI. Sept month CPI +4.3%yoy, trimmed mean +3.6%yoy, with the Sept qtr trimmed mean +1%qoq/+3.7%yoy (v RBA forecast for 3.5%yoy). Coming on the back of hawkish commentary from the RBA’s Hauser & Hunter another rate hike next wk is almost certain.
