Oregon needs more homes. I was fighting for the bills that make it easier to build long before I was governor, and I’m not slowing down. Every family should be able to afford a home in the community they work in.

Getting laid off and then being offered COBRA health insurance for ONLY $2,800 a month. Because obviously, when someone loses their income, the first thing they can afford is nearly $3,000 a month just to keep their health insurance. Make it make sense.

Before Trump was sworn in, I brought statewide and legislative leaders together to prepare for what was coming. I also required all state employees to train on our sanctuary law, so if a federal agent walks into a state office, they know their role. And in Oregon, ICE needs judicial warrants. Your governor should know that.
