Seahawks LT Charles Cross will miss time due to the high-ankle sprain he got last night.
Currently he will be 'week-to-week' moving forward as he recovers.
Mike Macdonald with some updates on injuries on his @SeattleSports radio appearance:
📍 Early thoughts on WR Rashid Shaheed's knee is 'positive'
📍 RB Jadarian Price will practice this week but "we don't know yet" if he will be able to play Monday.
📍RB Zach Charbonnet update: "we are sticking with our plan."
The Seahawks Dark Side DID NOT let Kenneth Walker get going this game. That was amazing to watch 🔥 (via @bobomixes)
The Chiefs, for the first time ever in the Patrick Mahomes era, did not reach the red zone once.
This Seahawks defense is the best we’ve seen in years.
Seven days ago he could not move his neck.
He had dived to make a tackle, and the tight end's knee caught him in the helmet. He lay on the turf for close to ten minutes while they immobilized him, then they carried him off on a stretcher and drove him to a hospital.
A few hours later reporters saw him walking around the locker room, which is the first good thing in this story.
His name is Kendal Daniels.
Today he wore the green dot, which means he was the one calling the defense. He led Atlanta in tackles with nine of his own. He intercepted Brock Purdy and ran it back to the red zone, and Atlanta kicked the field goal that made it a two score game.
On San Francisco's next drive he recovered the fumble that ended it.
Here is what he said about the thing that happened to him seven days earlier.
"I've never not walked off the field after an injury."
"It was a bad feeling, and I'm blessed to be able to play this week."
He could not turn his neck for days. He was back at practice on the Wednesday.
Now go back and look at how he got here, because it is stranger than you would think.
He grew up in Beggs, Oklahoma, a town of about 1,200 people. Basketball was his sport. At 6 foot 5, you can see why. He did not join the football team until he was a sophomore.
Two years after that he was rated the fifth best safety in America and the best recruit in his state.
Then Oklahoma pulled his offer.
So he committed to Texas A&M, changed his mind, and went to Oklahoma State instead. As a redshirt freshman he had 45 tackles and three interceptions, and he ended a 41 to 34 win over Texas with an interception in the final seconds.
He was the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year.
Four years later he transferred to Oklahoma anyway, the school that had taken the offer back.
Atlanta traded down in April and took him with the 134th pick.
Here is one of his teammates on today.
"He's got whatever it is, and it's a testament to his preparation."
Be straight about where this actually sits. He was only out there calling the defense because Divine Deablo is hurt. He is a fourth round rookie with one enormous afternoon, not a settled thing. And a neck is not an ankle, so nobody should be treating last Sunday as finished business.
But a kid who could not turn his head seven days ago spent this afternoon telling ten grown men where to stand, and then he went and took the ball away twice.
When were you the most scared and went back anyway.

Great half, one bad play by Darnold. He needs to be more careful in those moments.
You have to take the good with the bad with Sam Darnold.
Seahawks lead 10-0!
