Very anecdotic but my usage of Twitter has dropped significantly since the Elon takeover. Not in retaliation to his actions, but rather because of his actions. I used to have Tweetbot opened on my Mac 24/7, and launched the app dozens of times a day on my phone.

The Twitter website and apps are so bad that by design, they make me use the service much less often. I now understand how the Twitter app works, but it just doesn't click for me. Of course, I am in the minority that was using third-party apps, but I still think it is telling.

When I was in that same high school years later, wine was definitely banned, however we were allowed to smoke during recess. The good old days, I’m telling you.
