I realize some of you may scoff at the notion of entity possession, and believe me, I get it. I did so myself for ages. However, I’m at the point right now where I can’t for the life of me explain the unceasing parade of surrealistically-insane public meltdowns and random violent crimes we’re seeing literally every day now. Meaning, I’m older than dirt, and I have never — ever — seen people act the way they do these days. I know a lot of folks chalk it up to mental illness, and there’s certainly a lot of that around. But by the same token, “mental illness” is just a generic blanket term that doesn’t come close to explaining what is going on out there. And at the end of the day, an honest psychiatrist will admit that scientists still don’t understand how the mind actually works. An honest psychiatrist will also admit that medications can sometimes be effective in managing symptoms, but very rarely do they address the underlying cause of mental illnesses.
