Il Presidente Mattarella ha tracciato una linea netta: la scienza non si piega alle fakenews e la salute pubblica non si sacrifica sull’altare del consenso politico. Chi ha difeso i medici no-vax e legittimato la disinformazione, arrivando a occupare ruoli di vertice nelle istituzioni sanitarie, oggi dovrebbe assumersi le proprie responsabilità. Per coerenza, le dimissioni sarebbero un atto dovuto. La sanità pubblica merita rispetto, non propaganda.

Alla Camera l’articolo 8 passa con 126 sì e 113 no. Decisivi gli otto voti di Futuro Nazionale, il movimento di Roberto Vannacci, che rivendica il proprio ruolo nel salvare la norma sui sanitari radiati durante la pandemia.
Un segnale politico chiarissimo: Vannacci fa pesare i suoi voti e trasforma una questione di salute pubblica in una prova di forza nella maggioranza.
Ma la salute non è merce di scambio elettorale. Le sanzioni ingiuste si possono riesaminare, ma la scienza non si piega alle convenienze e la disinformazione non può diventare una linea politica.
La politica buona sta dalla parte dei cittadini, di chi cura e delle evidenze scientifiche. Non dalla parte delle fake news per conquistare consenso.

Scontro alla Camera. È polemica per il via libera dell’Aula all'articolo 8 del ddl sulle professioni sanitarie, solo con 13 voti di scarto (126 sì e 113 no). L'articolo in questione, introdotto durante l'esame in commissione su proposta di Alice Buonguerrieri di FdI, e ora passato anche con i voti di Forza Italia, prevede la possibilità di richiesta di reintegro per i medici no vax radiati dall'Albo durante il periodo del Covid. Le opposizioni non ci stanno. Indignata anche la Federazione nazionale degli Ordini dei medici (Fnomceo). Il presidente Filippo Anelli parla di “delusione nella categoria. Tutti i medici devono essere trattati alla stessa maniera davanti alla violazione del codice”.

Con il voto di oggi alla Camera, la politica di governo tocca uno dei punti più bassi degli ultimi cinque anni: una norma che apre una corsia di 60 giorni per riammettere negli albi i sanitari radiati durante la #pandemia, scavalcando gli Ordini professionali.
Il tutto per accarezzare il ventre molle dell’elettorato a cui evidentemente tiene di più.
Dei moderati, di chi ogni giorno lavora per la salute di tutti e di chi ha rispettato le regole anche quando costava fatica, questa politica sembra non curarsi affatto.
La deontologia diventa negoziabile, le sanzioni aggirabili e la coerenza sacrificabile sull’altare del consenso.
Altro che difesa dei valori: quando la convenienza elettorale viene prima della responsabilità, a perdere sono la credibilità delle istituzioni e il rispetto per chi ha fatto il proprio dovere.

Durante la pandemia migliaia di medici e operatori sanitari hanno rispettato le regole, lavorato senza sosta e rischiato la propria vita per salvare quella degli altri. Li chiamavamo eroi.

BREAKING: "I am deeply ashamed of him” RFK Jr.'s sister Kerry Kennedy tears into him for his disgustingly racist remarks about Arabs.

"There's 500 million Arabs in the world, and yet they don't produce science, they don't win the Nobel Prize, they don't win the Fields prize, they don't win the Wolf Prize, they don't produce literature," RFK falsely claimed at a rally for Mike Rogers in Michigan.
It represented a new low for a man who sold his soul for power inside Trump's administration and it was a blatant attempt to smear Abdul El-Sayed, who is Arab-American. Since they can't contest him on the merits of his policies, right-wingers have been relying entirely on Islamophobic and racist attacks. For the record, Arabs regularly win awards in everything from literature to chemistry.
In response to the hateful remarks, Kerry Kennedy posted a quote from her brother on Larry King Now back in 2016 when he said, "The easiest thing for a political leader to do is to appeal to our bigotry and our hatred and xenophobia and prejudice, and point to people who are unlike us and say they're the ones who are damaging our country."
Beneath the post was where she really tore into him—
"There was a time when I completely agreed with my brother," wrote Kennedy. "Today, I am deeply ashamed of him. Arab and Muslim people alike have made extraordinary contributions to the world across literature, science, mathematics, medicine and countless other fields."
"To name a few, Omar M. Yaghi won the Wolf Prize in Chemistry in 2018 and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2025. Ahmed Zewail won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1999, and Naguib Mahfouz won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988," she added.
"A person's race, religion, ethnicity or socioeconomic background does not determine their intellect, creativity or capacity to contribute to humanity. My thoughts are with all those hurt by my brother's false, cruel and derogatory words," Kennedy concluded.
There is one final layer to this scandal. In addition to being jaw-droppingly racist, RFK's remarks are just plain bad strategy. Michigan has a heavy Arab population and he's out there telling these people that they're stupid and useless. Next week, they'll have a chance to pay his entire party back in spades by sending Abdul El-Sayed to the Senate!
