This is proof Parish has not come out of the mindset of us being a club who simply just stay up
You can accept the Hodgson’s, Pulis’ and Allardyce’s of the world when we were new to the league and battling to build ourselves as a PL outfit
13 years in the PL, an FA Cup and a European trophy yet we still revert to type when things go a bit off course
Pathetic

🚨🦅 Sean Dyche is a front-runner for the Crystal Palace job should the club part ways with Pierre Sage after the damaging defeat to Newcastle.

Parish getting involved with managerial decisions in pursuit of ‘asset value’ is everything that is wrong with this football club right now
It does feel like Parish has looked for any excuse to not allow Sage to succeed
Let the manager manage his squad and make these decisions, you worry about talking more nonsense on the main stand and turning Selhurst into an American hub
#CPFC
Any other player and he'd be dropped for his performances so far this season.
Hard to look past Parish's reaction to Canvot being dropped as a reason for Sage to be hesitant to make big selection calls.
Parish clearly sees the players as 'valuable assets', but #cpfc may have been better off resting Wharton and trying something new. He was weak again today.
Why have Crystal Palace been conceding goals?*
#CPFC
If we want to question management and question how we have been so poor this season
Start with Matt Hobbs - recruitment this summer has been nothing short of criminal. Quantity over quality, delaying deals and leaving it till the last minute to give Sage the tools to compete
Has Sage been brilliant? No but with any new system, we were due teething problems. Not giving him the quality of player and setting him up to fail is beyond laughable
It’ll be Sage who takes the fall but Hobbs better follow quickly after
#CPFC
Sage has been set up to fail by this inept board and Hobbs
Individual poor performances have absolutely killed him and ultimately will end his tenure
I don’t agree with the inevitable sacking and I don’t like the names being linked either
#CPFC
Disasi will take a lot of the flack and rightly so but Canvot needs a serious look at himself after his start
Absolutely woeful
#CPFC
Lacking any meaningful quality from either side but we look the most likely to score or at least create
McNeil and Pino have been very bright and we look so much better with Wharton and Kamada in the 2 midfield
Limiting Newcastle to hopeful long balls and cutting out the small individuals mistakes is all we need to do
#CPFC
3 points would be the perfect end to a week where we’ve had to respond from last weekend
Takes some pressure off Sage and puts us in a good position across all the competitions heading into another big week with Fulham and Spurs next week

I like it
JP loves a goal against Newcastle and the continuity of Wharton x Kamada gives us more control

I get these videos are cool to make and they can be very cool to look through and watch
But I don’t really understand the point of this one

Let's hope the league phase doesn't end like this, would not fancy Salzburg or Marseille over 2 legs

🟠 UEFA Europa League: single-outcome projected table
Instead of averaging thousands of simulations, this table plays out every league-phase match only once.
How each match is resolved:
✅ The favourite wins, with its most likely scoreline for goal difference
🤝 Draws are assumed for the closest matchups so that they reproduce the number of expected draws in 🟠 UEL league phase
Here the order of teams IS NOT the same as if you simulate the competition tens of thousands of times and take average points (xPts). For that check our other posts.

Kieran McKenna and Thomas Frank would be horrific appointments
There was always going to be teething problems with Pierre Sage but I’ve seen more than enough from last night, Leeds, Poznan, Fulham and even parts of some of the defeats to believe in Sage
Glasner went 1 win in 5/6 when he started and then no win in 7 in the 24/25 season
Give the guy some time
#CPFC
Some thoughts on the current situation at Crystal Palace before a massive two games ✍️
- Crystal Palace hierarchy looking for defensive improvements.
- Out of work managers Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, Domenico Tedesco etc bring added pressure.
- Will a base midfield of Daichi Kamada and Adam Wharton make a difference?

4 from our first 3 with our 2 toughest games now gone is a very decent return
Puts pressure on us for Hoffenheim but no better place than Selhurst to get us back on track
#cpfc
Parish and Hobbs need to take as much responsibility for this as Sage.
A summer of pissing about and failing to bring in the required quality is unforgivable
We got away with it last year with the conference league but it’s another summer of the same approach failing to push us on
