Among all the various awards and nominations we’ve received, we’ve also just been nominated for the @gaymingmag GAYMING AWARDS! I’m really proud of that, because I absolutely stand by the fact that the way we did it is exactly how something like this should be done. Non-coercively, naturally, and educationally (because we show how things really were in the Middle Ages without idealizing them)—and without shoving it down anyone’s throat or trying to re-educate them like so many titles that are rigtfully called "woke" these days. We made the gay community happy and gave them the CHOICE to be themselves, just like we did for others in other choices and quests, and anyone who isn’t interested probably didn’t even notice. Except, of course, for very small and very loud minority. It was my idea, my decision and my responsibility and I had to convince others to do it. I believe, that absolute majority of people get it just as it was intended and the sales and user reviews prove it. None of that means, that I personally don’t find the abundance of forced “woke” nonsense in the entertainment industry annoying at the same time :) Thank you all!

Two major issues plaguing video game discourse:
1. Hating for fun/clout.
2. “If I’m not interested no one is.”
I have beaten both Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. Despite their high quality, I’m not really a fan of the series. I also strictly play single player games only.
With those statements made, it is clear that Horizon Hunters Gathering is not for me. I still don’t understand why the existence of this game is such an affront to so many. It looks good.
Good meaning- if you are interested in a co-op multiplayer experience in a series you love by a high quality developer why wouldn’t this look good? Of course, if that’s not the type of game you’re looking for why not just leave it at that and move on?
The third mainline Horizon game is still coming, with its original art style, characters and narrative. The series boasts 40 million copies sold even though it’s not even a decade old. There is an audience for this.
Many (including myself) have been advocating for Sony to make smart live service decisions rather than none at all. Horizon is the perfect IP for this co-op multiplayer experiment. If it’s priced correctly I think it will find itself cozy alongside Sony’s other successful multiplayer efforts such as Helldivers, MLB The Show and likely Marathon.
It all remains to be seen, and having no interest is a valid reaction, but the vitriol, personalized offense and desire for failure is frankly odd and a little inhuman.

I can't help but notice that I am seeing a lot more dragon sighting videos since the advent of generative AI.
Could it be that AI's adverse effects on the environment are leading to a change in their behavior, e.g. lack of water sources that causes them to move closer to cities?
