As we correctly predicted, the Attorneys of the Media, Information and Communication Technologies (MICT) SETA CEO have, today, written to us to inform us of his resignation.
Just like the now fired CEO of Insurance SETA, they appear to be asking the EFF to reconsider its court case against them.
There is another CEO who will fall very soon. Leaving us with 5 CEOs to go.
We took all 8 CEOs to court immediately after discovering that they were appointed irregularly. Let this be a lesson to all that we are career limiting for people who undermine the law, and flaunt processes.
SETAs are given over R 26 Billion every year to give our youth skills, especially those who don’t find space in Universities and TVETs. If we fail this sector, we will be failing millions of young people.

Our passion and our drive is not matched by processes and resources and infrastructure that works. The EFF’s commitments to insourcing municipal services and expanding access to basic infrastructure with a greater emphasis on how residents participate in decisions affecting their communities; ward-based people’s assemblies, technical oversight teams to scrutinise infrastructure spending and a one-stop municipal service centre where entrepreneurs and informal traders can get help with permits, registration and compliance.
We work hard in Johannesburg, but we also come here to play and to dream, and to be creative. And I think it’s very important to not neglect that.

And now the same government is trying to say that Asylum Seekers must no longer be considered foreigners when looking for jobs but the same Asylum seeker process has now been wide open for illegal immigrants to manipulate while they continue to stay in the country and be “documented” as Asylum Seekers but once rejected the Department of Home Affairs can’t find them in order to deport them! So exactly where is this country going???

Recent polls indicate that voters are not enthused by xenophobic populism of Mashaba and his ActionSA stokvel.
In 2021, ActionSA received 16,05% of votes in Johannesburg and the EFF followed with 10,63%.
A MarkData polls places the EFF at 11,9% in 2026, while ActionSA drops to 10,3%.

Mkhaliphi claims that during one of the March and March protests, a school principal from Lindelani had his car stormed by marchers allegedly because of his dark skin.
