Sad to me short hair Alucard is being completely phased out within the canon. With Belmont’s Curse we now have more depictions of him during CV3 looking EXACTLY like he does in SotN. Such a boring creative decision in a series where returning characters always look unique 😢

I stand by what I said about all Iranian dynasties and rulers and leaders in history and all Iranians both Muslim Iranians and anti Islam Iranians. And hopefully Iran in this war gets either nuked or Balkanised.

North African “Arab” larper, we don’t have any earlier Mesopotamian depictions of a double eagle head, that can be securely dated earlier than, both 3rd millennium Jiroft one and the approximate 3rd millennium BMAC one, which both are people from the Iranian plateau and found in the east of Iran and Central Asia, far away from Mesopotamia. The Sumerians who had very heavy contact with the Iranian plateau people had a depiction of the double headed eagle (the earliest one in Mesopotamia) that can’t be securely dated, even though 2500 BC has been proposed, yet most likely it is later based on new research.

Arab and Persian writers used to throw racial insults at each other over their eating habits. Following the Islamic conquest, the Arab invaders were perplexed by the spoons and forks (bārjīn) kept by the Persians. By the Abbasid era, this became a particular point of ethnic contention during the Shu‘ubiyya, a fierce cultural rivalry in which Iranians pushed back against Arabs. Persian writers like Bashshar ibn Burd and Sahl ibn Harun insulted Arabs for eating habits they considered disgusting, like eating lizards, licking food off their unwashed hands and wiping grease on their clothes. While Arab writers like al-Jahiz mocked Persians for using cutlery and eating in near total silence.
