You're One Solid Team Away from Finally Building That Product 💡

Joined December 2025
After 9 months of market research and building a logistics app for a client, my team at @ServiceBlocks and I have developed what we believe is a strong model for launching logistics software in Nigeria. We studied how Nigerians actually use logistics services: who pays for delivery, when payments happen, how riders are verified, how commissions work, and most importantly, the trust issues that make people hesitant to use a new platform. We took those lessons and built a working logistics software prototype around them, designed specifically for the Nigerian market. We're making it available in two configurations: 1. A single mobile app where customers and riders operate within the same platform. 2. Separate customer and rider apps, each with its own experience. So if you've been considering starting a logistics business, you don't necessarily have to spend months figuring out the software from scratch. We've already done a significant part of that work. The prototype is now available for founders who want to launch their own logistics platform. Interested? Email [email protected] or check the link in my reply. 🚀

After a very longggg time, the @ServiceBlocks website is finally updated 😭 The funny thing is, we build software and websites for other businesses every day, but our own website had slowly stopped representing the company we had become. We’ve launched more products, grown the team, worked with more founders, and expanded what we can actually deliver, but someone visiting our website wouldn’t know half of it. The dilemma was whether to just “update” the old website or completely rethink how we present ServiceBlocks. We chose the latter. We wanted something that showed our work immediately, explained what we actually do without a lot of grammar, and felt like the kind of software company we’re trying to build. After plenty of iterations, it’s finally live. New ServiceBlocks unlocked 😂 serviceblocks.biz Check it out and tell me the first thing you’d change.

In no particular order, these are some of the cheap marketing channels we’re currently using to grow @ServiceBlocks: • SEO through our blog • Social media • Cold emailing • Tech events & networking • Educational content • And my current experiment: building my personal brand aggressively We’re basically testing how far we can grow a software company without depending heavily on paid ads. I’ll probably document what actually brings us clients as we go.

2 months, 1 week, and 4 days later, another mobile app my team @ServiceBlocks has been working on is finally live. Meet @Pickahapp 🚀 Pickah is a logistics platform built around a problem Nigerians already know too well: getting something from point A to point B shouldn’t require 17 calls, “where are you?” every 10 minutes, and prayers 😭 We built the entire product around making that experience easier. Customers can request deliveries, track their orders, communicate with riders, and know what’s happening with their delivery. Riders have their own experience for managing jobs, earnings, and deliveries. And behind everything is an admin system that runs the operation. This is the part of software development I really enjoy. Taking somebody’s business idea, sitting down with the problem, figuring out all the moving parts, then watching what was once conversations and documents become an actual product on somebody’s phone. Pickah just launched! Really excited to see this one outside our test devices. 🤞🏾

The @ServiceBlocks gang finally met in real life 😂 Funny enough, we've spent months building software together, joining client calls, solving problems and shipping projects, while most of us had never actually met physically. Yesterday we finally changed that. Turns out the people inside my laptop are real 😂 Really proud of what we're building together, and even more excited about where we're going. Also, I can finally confirm I am NOT the shortest person on the team 😭

The right dev partner doesn't just answer your questions. They ask better ones. You'll know you've found the right partner when you leave the first call thinking: "I hadn't thought about that." Not: "great, they can build it" "the price seems fair." "I hadn't thought about that."
