#AvaraachanAndSons (2026)-This could have been a really rocking comedy-drama about a dysfunctional family, but falls well short of it. The basic premise is fine & the cast led by the ever reliable Biju Menon is also pretty good, but the film does not manage to really impress.

#GajabRaat (2026)-There is nothing ajab or gajab about this film, which tries hard to come across as a serious thriller but eventually crumbles into something that's definitely laughable (unintentionally). Streaming on Netflix..
#Clayface (2026)-This is a really good body horror film & certainly works out well as a really cool origin film for DC. Not an easy watch for everyone though, otherwise it definitely makes for a good watch at the cinemas.
#Colony (2026)-This South Korean sci-fi horror film is one of the better zombie films in recent times & is pretty engaging all the way. Missed it during it's theatrical run, watched it now on Amazon Prime.
#TheParadise (2026)-This Telugu action film is simply atrocious, and does not have a single redeeming feature in it. Srikanth Odela needs to understand that this is not how one makes a mass entertainer & Nani should stick to what he's good at.
#Passnger (2026)-An above average supernatural horror film which is engaging all the way. The reviews have been a little too harsh I feel as this one is worth it's run time especially if you like this genre. Streaming on Amazon Prime.
#Dhoomakethu (2026)-This Malayalam sci-fi (time loop) comedy film is a fun watch, with the first half especially being very entertaining. The second half definitely sees the momentum slipping for a considersble time, before regaining some ground with the climax.
#GhostInTheCell (2026)-Its good to see Joko Anwar slowly regaining his form once again & this Indonesian action horror film clearly indicates the same. But I think that there was a potential for Joko to do even better with the kind of scope that he could have explored here.
#EnnaVilai (2026)-This Tamil courtroom drama tackles an important subject sensitively and subtly for most of the film's duration.
#EnnaVilai (2026)-The performances are neat and aid the narrative, the only jarring aspect is the weird BGM that plays out during the courtroom sequences, which definitely distracte the viewer unnecessarily. Streaming on Netflix after it's theatrical release.
#Hokum (2026))-A supernatural horror film with an interesting premise & overall an engaging take. Irish writer-director Damien McCarthy moves out of the indie space to do a slightly bigger film but thankfully it clearly bears his style all over.
#EvilDeadBurn (2026)-The 6th installment in the #EvilDead supernatural horror film series, but not one of the better ones. This has a lot more gore than genuine scary moments & isn't all that impactful. Streaming on Netflix after it's theatrical run.
#Jailer2 (2026)-The first half is an absolute riot & Namo Narayan is amazing with Yogi Babu doing what he's always good at. The second d half isn't as much fun but the film is overall entertaining & Thalaivar pleases not just his fans but also the general audience.
