SBI Digital Markets eyes Arbitrum for tokenized investment products with Ember Protocol
SBI Digital Markets signed a memorandum of understanding with @EmberProtocol today. SBI will bring asset structuring and its network of institutional investors, while Ember will provide the tools to issue tokens, run vaults, and supply liquidity. The work will cover the full product life, from how investors buy in and cash out to settlement and trading after launch.
The first products are planned to run on @arbitrum ($ARB). Steven Goldfeder, CEO of Arbitrum builder Offchain, said products launched there can reach active capital and users from day one.

Cipher 专做犯罪和地缘政治题材，看他们的纪录片跟追剧一样。这部片长 1 小时 20 分钟，把这支朝鲜国家队从头到尾讲透了。
Lazarus 可不是普通黑客，它是朝鲜国家养的「犯罪企业」。大多数黑客都是从小被选中的数学天才，每天工作 15 到 20 小时。Lazarus 的 KPI 只有一个：给政权搞钱，大头流向核武。

Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.

It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.
