• The goal is to make Ore adaptable to new monetary narratives

Yesterday, the reserve allocation was moved from 5% to 10%, meaning this will start growing twice as quickly now. People are taking notice. The reserves are OREcellerating and storing more and more value. $ORE is the safe haven.

🚂 Station 1 is live: Diamond Hands.
The train reached its first station and the council pulled the lever. Four on-chain writes landed today, every one approved 3 of 5 with its note recorded on-chain (proposals 20 through 23 on the council multisig). Here is what changed:
Diamonds exist. A new DIAMOND pool is mining right now at 2 DIAMOND per day across everyone in it. Decay in the DIAMOND pool runs at 8% per day, double the COAL pool, so it costs more ingots to stay sharp. That is the trade: scarcer resource, harder mining.
Pickaxes switch pools. Open your pickaxe and switch it between COAL and DIAMOND, the same way wood axes have moved between WOOD and CHROMIUM. Your mining continues from the moment you switch; unclaimed COAL is parked, not lost. One small SOL fee per switch goes to the council vault.
The Furnace opens. Take a tier-2 tool (chromium-upgraded) and one DIAMOND to the Furnace and mount it. The diamond is burned, the tool becomes tier 3, permanently. Tier-3 tools mine with 10% more hashpower than uncommon.
Tier 3 comes with a way out. The Burn Pit is open. Burn a tier-3 tool and the treasury refunds the ORE its ingots locked when it was crafted: 0.05 ORE for a full-size tool. This is a refund of your own deposit, not a payout from anyone else, and it is the only way ORE can be claimed from the treasury.
COAL emission moved to 10,000 per day from 11,250. Fewer new COAL, more places to burn it.
How to start: connect at coal.digital, open your pickaxe, switch to DIAMOND if you want to mine it, and watch the Furnace once the first diamonds land in wallets. Nothing you already hold changed. Every number above is readable on-chain.
Next stop is Station 2. The track forks there, and where the train goes will be decided by your burns. 🚂

What changed today:
- all three programs upgraded and verified byte for byte against the ratified release
- the pool migrated to v3
- every one of the 2,787 staked tools migrated
- the WOOD and CHROMIUM pools opened
- the burn economy switched on.
Thirteen council actions, thirteen executed, every signature posted in the council channel.
One thing still finishing: the per-tool metadata refresh that points old tool images at coal.digital.
Some wallets will keep showing the old, broken images for tools until their turn comes over the next day. Nothing about your tools or rewards depends on it.
