As a boy this race was mythological. My dream was always one day to attend The 500 as a fan.
To now be part of a team that has won it. I can't express my emotions. I can't understand how I got here. I can't believe we did it.

I do hope Alonso doesn't hijack the IndyCar Barcelona headlines. The series has some wonderful drivers who deserve more exposure. Alonso had his Indy 500 chance and thanks to Zak, blew it through arrogance.
IndyCar announced they're racing in Barcelona next year. This is massive news for European fans, can't wait to do some activation with Chip Ganassi Racing

A Monday report from a Spanish outlet stated that a multi-year contract has been completed to bring IndyCar to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in July, and while an agreement could be signed in the coming days, RACER has confirmed that no deal has been executed.
