Dear Chinese people,
Mbappe is right, Mao Zedong is a dictator and China is a totalitarian state.
My name is Diogo Dalot and I play for Manchester United.
Why do the biggest law firms only do $2bn in revenue
For non-lawyers: This is a HUGE story! Weil is legal royalty.
Founded in 1931. $2.1 billion in revenue last year. One of the most powerful law firms on Wall Street.
Lehman Brothers. General Motors. Enron. Weil handled their bankruptcies.
These are the lawyers you call when your company’s collapse is going to end up in a history book.
Now they reportedly need restructuring counsel themselves.
A wind-down would be a stunning end to a 95-year-old institution.
How does this happen?

OPENAI to EMPLOYEES: You got no bitches before. Maybe you should question why that would change?
OPENAI to EMPLOYEES: If someone is trying to seduce you, first consider — could they be a spy???
OpenAI is warning its employees about honeypot spies and strangers with children in playgrounds ... a very fun one with @georgia_wells and @MeghanBobrowsky:

French Presidential Candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon:
They tell us, "We must reassure the markets." Reassure the markets? What are their names? Where do they live? Let me go and reassure them!
What market? What are you talking about? There is no market. There are hedge funds, financial companies and insurance companies.

This @WSJ piece on the UK's runaway disability benefits is something else. Great color from @MaximColch & @davidluhnow
This has to be a parody
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

“if you marry someone with tremendous debt, you’re paying for all the fun they had before they met you”
Replying to @JoshuaLisec
My husband and I chuckle sometimes because we know our teenage boys will have a challenging time finding a suitable wife with us in their ear: if you marry someone with tremendous debt, you’re paying for all the fun they had before they met you
God WHEN
Jessica bought me a fabulous watch from my favorite vintage watch shop (Somlo) and conspired with them to have it in the window when I walked by. Of course it was the first one I noticed. But instead of a description, the label said "Happy early birthday Paul." I still didn't get that it was for me, because one of the guys who works there is called Paul. I turned to Jessica and said that he must have a birthday coming up too, but why would they put his watch in the window? Then I noticed she was grinning like the Cheshire cat.

Your boyfriend's parents had to use a belt to get him to listen, and you want to use tears and essays?..
