Americans have trillions of dollars sitting in checking and savings accounts earning next to nothing.
@Sharplink CEO @joechalom says AI agents could put that idle cash to work automatically, without consumers having to lift a finger.
"We have a competitive advantage... it's called permanent capital...
Crypto was dominated by mercenary capital individuals, harvesters, and hedge funds who would go into a protocol, harvest a bunch of incentives, try to get giant APYs and leave 3 months later...
We're able to deploy back into the ecosystem... we've deployed almost half a billion dollars back into DeFi."

“We’ve been the largest institutional player in DeFi… what we do differently is we do it with a qualified custodian.”
I discussed our first of-its-kind deployment with @Anchorage and how we’re setting new standards for onchain finance on @CryptoAmerica_
“Partnering with @anchorage was the right call…
This was the first time that a public company has been able to deploy, while maintaining their custody in a qualified custodian, all onchain, leverage a bridge and deploy on an L2.“ @sheffieldreport
We put ETH to work.
At Sharplink we’ve set new standards for how onchain finance should operate.
Proud of our partnership with @Anchorage on our first-of-its-kind ecosystem deployments: our ETH earns higher yield onchain while staying with a qualified custodian.
This is how we pave the way to bring more institutions onchain.
For @sharplink, who owns over $2,000,000,000 worth of ETH, they were never interested in just buying it and storing it in custody. Making it productive onchain has been a journey of industry firsts.
Anchorage Digital Bank helped secure and stake their treasury first, and then enabled a $200m deployment onchain, with public-company controls and reporting.

🚨NEW: From helping launch Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs at BlackRock to leading SharpLink, @joechalom has had a front-row seat to crypto’s institutional shift.
Now he’s betting that $ETH will be central to a financial system built around stablecoins, tokenized assets and onchain markets. He says that shift could be “almost revolutionary.”
We also get into @SharpLink’s ETH treasury strategy, the regulatory outlook and how AI agents could change the way consumers manage money.
Ethereum is the home of onchain finance.
"Institutions want security. They want trust. And they'll go where the liquidity is...
Ethereum is dominating on all three."
@therollupco
Ethereum is financial infrastructure.
Four trends are converging on the most credibly neutral network:
→ Stablecoins. 57% on Ethereum.
→ Tokenized assets. 56% on Ethereum.
→ Onchain finance. $60B and counting.
→ AI agents. Hundreds of millions of transactions this year.
With 100+ institutional deployments, institutional adoption is accelerating.
We're proud to work with companies like @ethereuminsti as we all work towards bringing the next 1,000 onchain.
ETH, held.
Conviction, held.

When in Seoul last month, I had the opportunity to sit down with Rep. Min Byung-duk at the National Assembly for a conversation moderated by Seoul Economic Daily.
We discussed how Korea can progress its regulatory framework for stablecoins and digital assets as the Digital Asset Basic Act moves forward. I shared my experiences from Sharplink and BlackRock and offered lessons from the U.S. perspective.
Top of mind was the need for Korean won-denominated stablecoins to protect its monetary sovereignty and grow its digital economy. A clear path for asset tokenization and market structure clarity are essential to promote Korean competitiveness as well as investor protection.
Korea has all the ingredients to be a leader in digital finance. I’m grateful to Rep. Min for his leadership and for our thoughtful exchange.
"We've also been funding ecosystem spin-offs... we have more conviction today on ETH as a story than we did a year ago."
With investments in @ethereuminsti @ethlabs_org and @eth_systems we'll continue to make Ethereum stronger.

CIO @sheffieldreport breaks down how Sharplink provides long-term funding that others can't.
Cold start capital.
Anyone can own $ETH. We know how to put it to work.
Over the last year, Sharplink has done roughly $500M worth of deals to put ETH to work across the ecosystem.
These include staking deployments, a dedicated onchain yield fund, and investments for the teams leading Ethereum’s next decade.
Here’s how it fits together 👇
Our equity and ecosystem investments in @ethereuminsti , @ethlabs_org , @blockspace, and @eth_systems help ensure Ethereum’s foundation remains strong.
These teams are doing incredible work on issues like AI and quantum security while making sure institutions have reliable partners they can work with as they bring their funds onchain.
We can’t share exactly what Blockspace has been cooking just yet... But rest assured... you’ll want to keep your eyes on them.
