Our care continues beyond the sidewalk.
โค๏ธ LOVE IN ACTION SAVES LIVES! 18 babiesโ€™ lives saved this year. 10 moms currently supported through our Life Fund. Praise God! On October 16, a couple chose life outside Southwestern Womenโ€™s Options. On October 24, a couple from Gallup chose life for their third child after encountering our team outside Whole Womanโ€™s Health. The father told us they had felt convicted throughout the driveโ€”but our presence convinced them to keep their baby! Another turnaround that same day brought our 2026 total to 18! ๐Ÿ™Œ Our care continues beyond the sidewalk. A mother from San Antonio who previously chose life and received support through our Life Fund recently referred a friend in crisis. Although her friend is not pregnant, she and her three-year-old daughter still need compassion and practical helpโ€”and we are here for them. She had depended on her boyfriend since leaving high school and has never lived on her own or obtained a driverโ€™s license. With that relationship ending, she faces the overwhelming task of building a stable future for herself and her daughter. โค๏ธ We care about this mother and her little girl. She does not have to be pregnant or considering abortion for her family to matter to us. We provided groceries and other necessities and are working with churches in her area to connect her with ongoing support and spiritual guidance. We want her to know she is not aloneโ€”and that there is hope for their future. ๐Ÿ™ Pray that she places her trust in Jesus and that she and her daughter find stability and a caring community. Please also pray for the families who recently chose life and our faithful sidewalk team. Your prayers and generosity help us put love into actionโ€”before birth, after birth, and when families face new crises. Help support mothers and save lives: AbortionFreeNM.com

We continue working toward an Abortion Free New Mexico where every pre-born child is valued and protected.
๐Ÿšจ PLANNED PARENTHOOD STOPS ABORTIONS IN SANTA FEโ€”MONTHS AFTER REOPENING Their own website says it plainly: โ€œThis health center doesnโ€™t provide abortion services.โ€ A separate page states abortion โ€œisnโ€™t offered at this health center.โ€ AFNM reported the Santa Fe facilityโ€™s reopening for abortions in May. Now, its website lists other services but explicitly says it does not provide abortions. An undercover call placed by AFNMโ€™s Tara Shaver confirmed that the Santa Fe Planned Parenthood was not currently scheduling abortion appointments. During the call, staff could not confirm whether abortion services would resume there in the near future. This follows other developments AFNM has documented: โ–ช๏ธ Planned Parenthoodโ€™s Northeast Heights location reopened in Albuquerque, then permanently closed months later. โ–ช๏ธ Alamo closed its Montgomery Boulevard location and consolidated services at Southwestern Womenโ€™s Options. โ–ช๏ธ Planned Parenthoodโ€™s announced Washington Street location remains unopened. โ€œPolitical ideology cannot keep an abortion facility open. New Mexicoโ€™s leaders may be determined to expand abortion, but these closures and service reductions show that political will alone cannot turn their plans into reality.โ€ โ€”Bud Shaver, Executive Director, Abortion Free New Mexico ๐Ÿ“ฒ Read and share our latest report: abortionfreenm.com/news/planโ€ฆ We continue working toward an Abortion Free New Mexico where every pre-born child is valued and protected.

After her decision, her travel voucher was canceledโ€”leaving her stranded in Albuquerque. โค๏ธ AFNM STEPPED IN. Our Life Fund paid for a rental car so she could return home to Texas. Her circumstances remain difficult, but we are committed to walking alongside her in the months ahead.
โค๏ธ BABY #15 SAVED! SHE CHOSE LIFEโ€”THEN SHE WAS STRANDED. On September 26, a mother from New Braunfels, Texas, chose LIFE for her fourth childโ€”the 15th baby saved through Abortion Free New Mexicoโ€™s outreach this year! She initially responded to our sidewalk team with hostility, even making an obscene gesture. But her story didnโ€™t end there. After coming outside and sitting in the grass, she heard our team offering hope and help to other women. Those words touched her heart. She approached us, a meaningful conversation followed, and she chose life! ๐Ÿ™Œ According to this mother, a Texas abortion fund had arranged her travel and lodging. โค๏ธ UNITED IN THE MISSION The Abortion Free New Mexico team recently came together to share how God has been movingโ€”on the sidewalks outside Albuquerque abortion centers, through prayer, and in one anotherโ€™s lives. We shared testimonies, encouraged one another, prayed together, and reflected on the privilege God has given us to stand for life and offer hope to mothers and families in crisis. This ministry is about more than simply showing up. It is about bearing one anotherโ€™s burdens, strengthening one another in faith, and remaining united in the mission God has placed before us. We are deeply grateful for every faithful team member who prays, serves, speaks truth in love, and refuses to give up. Weโ€™ll keep showing upโ€”because every mother matters, every baby matters, and every life is worth fighting for.
โ€œYouโ€™re wasting your time.โ€ These are some of the babies whose mothers we met outside abortion clinics here in Albuquerqueโ€”and who ultimately chose life. We know these babies arenโ€™t here because of us. They are here by the grace of God. โœ๏ธ God is the One who changes hearts, and He allows us the privilege of showing up, praying, speaking truth in love, and offering mothers and fathers hope and practical support. So, are we wasting our time? We donโ€™t think so. ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ™ TOMORROW: NEW MEXICO, STAND IN THE GAP FOR LIFE As part of the Spiritual Defense Coalition, Abortion Free New Mexico is joining believers, churches, organizations, families, and communities across our state tomorrow for one purpose: TO PRAY. And there is so much to bring before God. Just this week, AFNM exposed a new Planned Parenthood abortion center preparing to open in Albuquerqueโ€”at the same address as its TEENโ€™MPower youth program. Then, our sidewalk team was violently attacked while ministering outside an Albuquerque abortion facility. During the confrontation, the woman declared on video: โ€œIโ€™VE DECIDED Iโ€™M OKAY WITH GOING TO PRISON TODAY.โ€ These developments should do more than concern us. They should drive us to our knees. Tomorrow, September 12 from 9:00โ€“10:30 AM, we will pray for unborn children, mothers and babies, protection for young people, safety and courage for sidewalk teams, changed hearts among abortion workers, wisdom for our leaders, and a culture of life throughout New Mexico. ๐Ÿ“ JOIN US IN ALBUQUERQUE New Covenant Church 7200 Ridgecrest Dr. SE Albuquerque, NM 87113 Our Lady of the Annunciation Church 2621 Vermont St. NE Albuquerque, NM 87110 ๐Ÿ“ NOT IN ALBUQUERQUE?
