The Gender Summit is currently underway with students from Mashonaland Province. This year's Gender Summit is running under the theme: Student Dignity & the Struggle Against Gender Exploitation on Campus. This is meant to advance a clear argument that meaningful education requires more than access to lecture rooms. Students must be able to learn in conditions that protect their dignity, safety, equality and basic needs including food, accommodation and healthcare. Education cannot therefore be genuinely emancipatory where students are humiliated, exploited or denied the conditions needed to learn and participate with dignity. #EducationWithoutDignityIsCounterRevolutionary
