#49ers LB Fred Warner was fined $65,673 for two instances against the #Commanders — $17,911 for a hit on TE Chig Okonkwo (flag was thrown then picked up, with ESPN broadcast saying it should’ve stayed a penalty) and $47,762 for use of the helmet here that wasn’t flagged.

Jayden Daniels has an average of 1.5 seconds in the pocket per dropback (worst in the NFL) No one said he needs everything perfect but what could he possibly do when the pocket is constantly collapsing giving him virtually no time to go through his progressions?

“Jayden isn’t the problem but everything has to be picture perfect for him to win !!! “ lmao

I think we can all say that it was NOT Adam Peters who was finding the talent in SF.

Ruled out for Monday: Bill Croskey-Merritt, Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Charles Omenihu and Marcus Mariota. Everyone else will travel to SF. Decisions on players such as Jeremy McNichols will be made Monday.

I appreciate how he explained this in the easiest way for non-medical people to understand the seriousness of this situation 😔

1. There never should have been a play called, it should have been a knee, then a spike, or a spike and kick the field goal. 2. The play called was awful, you subbed in a completely new personnel and package. Which made the huddle longer, the play had motion which kills more clock. 3. Jayden can’t spike it with that play call or else it would be intentional grounding. 4. His foot is stepped on which disrupts the flow of the play called. Which makes the throw away more difficult especially with 2 defenders closing in on the flat. 5. Even if Jayden gets up immediately there are still 2 players 20 yards down the field due to the play call. 6. You want to fault Jayden for not overruling the both the head coach and OC, that’s fine. 7. You want to fault Jayden for not finding a way to get rid of the ball without a turnover or intentional grounding penalty, that’s fine. But given all that context in no world should all of the blame or fault be put on Jayden Daniels. He was put in a position to fail with way too many variables, for a mere few extra yards. #raisehail #nfl
Bro it’s self explanatory why it’s his fault …. Geez discourse and common knowledge are gone 45 secs and running you know you can’t have a play result in clock running bc you have no timeouts The stadiums have playclock visible to him on either endzone ANY QB KNOWS THIS

My honest opinion? I think David Blough had full control and overthought it. Tried to be perfect. Dan Quinn doesn't seem like the micromanaging type. Blough tried to go for a kill shot. Play got rattled with Paul stepping on Daniels' foot. Chaos ensues. Daniels got flustered. Game over.

Quinn said the play came from OC David Blough. Quinn said one issue was that there was too much subbing for that situation. But Quinn said, "All that comes from me what we can and can't do. Dave calls it but it's clear about my guidelines too It's a breakdown in a lot of ways and it starts with me first."

Mistake no 1: taking a long time to get the play in. If the desire is to run another play and perhaps pick up a few more yards then get to the line around 30 seconds when there are no more TO. Mistake no 2: the call. From under center and play action with downfield routes. One Off coach from another team wondered “if just throwing it away, do from gun.” Also: his foot was stepped on again (second time in the game). The easy call: spike it, kick the FG. Mistake no 3: not throwing it away. Then the lax effort by all to get reset. All confusing. Mishandled at each step. Brutal.

Dog…..Chris Paul ain’t built for the under center life. WHY does he keep stepping on Jayden’s foot in the biggest moments?!

@redzoneinthelab you can see his foot gets stepped on.

Since going 12 and 5 during Jayden Daniels’ phenomenal rookie season, Dan Quinn’s @Commanders are 6-15-1. Yes, there have been injuries, but good/great teams still find a way to win. They DON’T find ways to lose or TIE. 🏈👎🏽👀
