I re-trained as an SLT because I knew I wanted to work in stroke.
On #WorldStrokeDay today, it is vital to remember that there is life after stroke, and we all play (for me as an SLT and an individual) a role to ensure that there is #StrengthThroughSupport

Dionne and Sue had never met before. But when we brought them together for #WorldStrokeDay they bonded instantly over their shared 'trauma' of surviving a stroke.
