Enjoyed providing the MH Moment during the Food Services Network @GRRECKY. Focused on self-regulation strategies/tools (they received two), cognitive distraction (love an activity with prizes), co-regulation/rhythm making (finger lights for the win). Amazing participation!

An honor to present twice at #KSCA26. First session discussed responding to crisis, grief and more including natural disasters. I appreciated the questions, discussions after and the compliments after the presentation (even at dinner in the women’s bathroom).

The second presentation, we shared prompts and strategies for using AI (ChatGPT/Gemini, MagicSchool AI, Canva AI & Gemini Notebook) with lesson plans, SEL, behavior, communication, MTSS, etc. We had one shared a social story she had created using what she had learned-LOVE this!

Spent the morning in Breckinridge Co Presented on: - AI in school counseling (check out our PEZ pics) - Evidence-based Interventions for all grade levels & tiers - Tie 2 & Progress monitoring Then to Louisville to present at the Ky ACTE Conf on meaningful career conversations.

Returned from #ASCA26 in New Orleans. Opening keynote w/ John Quiñones, sessions, dinner @LandrysSeafood, and Cemetery Ghost Adventures Tour. Next day, more sessions, @NCYI appreciation event & @schoollinks event - toured @MardiGrasWorld. Monday conference - then back to KY.

I always feel so honored when I can present to @FRYSCKy. The last two days, I have been in Lexington presenting to nearly 350 FRYSC at the Victory Over Violence Conference. They are so dedicated. and I honestly believe are the heart of the schools/districts. ❤️ @GRRECKY

Attended the @attachtrauma Conference. I had the honor of being a volunteer & moderating some amazing sessions. Networking with some great people with ATN & other participants. Visited the Dallas World Aquarium, won a door prize, puppy time during lunch & learned so much!

What a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday — co-presenting with Dr. Savannah Denning & Donovan Hatfield in Clinton County Schools. Staff at each school had the opportunity to practice 7 AI tools/platforms. @GRRECKY #AIforEducators

A great way to spend part of a Friday morning is with @GRRECKY’s Food Services Network. It’s been wonderful spending time during their Mental Health Moment this year. Today, we concluded this year with rock painting. So many talented Food Services Directors in our region!

The last four days, I was in Bethesda, Maryland for PREPaRE 1 and 2 back-to-back train-of-trainers. They were long days with lots of information shared and practice presentations but after completing and passing both tests, I am now a trainer for both! @nasponline

Yesterday, I finished the day at @GRRECKY presenting about grief to @FRYSCKy Region 3. We discussed psychological first aid, the SAFER-R Model, discussed activities/strategies for all types of grief - loss of a loved one, home, friendship, family dynamics, etc.
