New Feature: Shift External Points Marketplace Shift Vaults pass over to their users 100% of the platform points they earn. Usually with a bonus on top: - extUSD comes with a 10% Extended bonus - Hibachi comes with a 30% Hibachi bonus - risexUSDC comes with a 22.5% RiseX bonus These points come in the form of Shift Wrapped External Points: for example, 1 Extended Point that Shift earns through its vault, becomes 1 Shift Extended Point, distributed to our users. At TGE, these can be converted in the corresponding equivalent amount of tokens. People want to be able to speculate on the future value of these points in an easier and safer way. There is demand and there is offer, but often people are scared or don't know how to handle pre-TGE OTC trades. We heard your voice. From today, Shift Wrapped Points can be traded directly for USDC on an orderbook-style marketplace. No escrow required, no waiting required. Upon settlement of an order, you pay/receive USDC and the Shift Wrapped Points change owner immediately. Come try it out: Extended and Hibachi points are already available, and soon we will add RiseX and Arcus points.

We’re releasing a new ltLLP ↔ hibaUSD liquidity pool, giving users a direct way to move between the two vaults. Instead of necessarily withdrawing from one vault, waiting for the withdrawal to complete, and depositing into the other, users can swap ltLLP and hibaUSD directly through the pool. Less waiting. More flexibility.

The points market at @ShiftProtocol_ is still open for some last-minute (month) purchases! Those points are effectively Shift-wrapped Extended points: - completely redeemable at TGE as if they were normal Extended Points, you will receive the corresponding $XTEN tokens directly in your wallet, or be able to claim them on Shift (depending on how the TGE will be executed); - no collateral is needed for buyers or sellers, the points are directly transferred and USDC is also directly transferred; - trades are entirely guaranteed by Shift, the purchases are not capped at x2 and transfers are immediate and irreversible.
The ticker is $XTEN. Coming November 2026. Tokenomics to follow from 31 October. This communication is not an offer to claim XTEN.

Another Weekly Update Our top 2 performing vaults for the week are: - @hibachi_xyz vault with 33.20% APY - @risextrade vault with 13.33% APY We also have important news concerning other Shift products. First of all, upon @extendedapp migration to Arc, we will perform extUSD migration to @arc, and users will start enjoying increased rewards and extra points. The migration is scheduled for Thursday, this week, and preparation is already ongoing, as announced earlier. Secondly, our @arcus_xyz vault entered the last stretch of internal testing. During the last month of testing, the strategy achieved an average APY of 16.15%, and generated volume of 3x its AUM. We will soon open deposits on @RobinhoodCrypto Chain.
Weekly Update on Shift Vaults It was overall a strong week, with our Lighter and @risextrade vaults reaching double digits APY, while the @hibachi_xyz vault marked a fresh ATH in Share Price. We will soon share an announcement concerning the improvement of two vaults and the release of the Arcus Vault!

Extended moves to @arc on Thursday. Settlement migrates from Starknet to Arc on October 22 at 13:00 UTC. The migration is planned with no interruption to trading. Positions can still be liquidated during this time, so top up margin beforehand. Transfers between sub-accounts stay open. Most accounts need to do nothing. Your account, sub-accounts, positions, orders, history, points and keys carry across unchanged. USDC migrates as native USDC, ETH migrates 1:1 as wETH, and Vault (XVS) balances and withdrawal rights are preserved. If you hold more than $1 of USDT or wBTC in any sub-account, you must act by 12:00 UTC on October 21: - Authorise the conversion in-app. USDT converts to USDC and wBTC to cirBTC at 1:1 during the migration, with no swap fees. Extended credits a 0.50% premium. - Or withdraw both assets. If you miss the deadline, your whole account will be restricted for up to 30 minutes on October 21 while Extended cancels orders, closes positions in the affected sub-accounts at mark price with no fees, and returns your USDT and wBTC to your login wallet. Deposits and withdrawals will be paused for up to 2 hours during the migration. Full details can be found in the documentation: docs.extended.exchange/about…

Today we sent live the RiseX Market, and an user just executed the first purchase at $3.33 / point. Points earned via our RiseX USDC Vault can be traded on Shift's Points Marketplace without the need of locking 100% of your collateral or having your return capped at 2x. How does it work? Shift accumulates points via its strategies, including RiseXUSDC. These points are then distributed to our users in the form of "Shift Wrapped Points" with an added bonus, coming from us or our partners (or a mix). Via Shift's Points Marketplace you can trade the points (buy or sell them) on @arbitrum, directly receiving USDC for your sales. How is this different from a normal points OTC Marketplace? OTC Marketplaces have four issues that we try to solve: 1. Trust: many users would like to buy points or sell their points, but they do not trust the intermediary, which is generally a telegram group chat or an individual. Here, every trade is guaranteed and backstopped by Shift. 2. Capital Efficiency: another thing that users don't like is locking their capital for weeks or months, waiting for the points to become transferrable or to be converted in tokens. This doesn't happen with Shift. Since the points are wrapped by Shift, we immediately transfer them to the buyer once the trade is executed, and the seller immediately receives his USDC. 3. Wait time: OTC markets are generally dependent on their manager to be up and awake. If they're not (timezone, lack of time, lack of commitment) you may struggle to place an order or a trade. Shift's market is live 24/7 and completely independent from Shift's team availability. 4. Transparency: with OTC chats you generally are never sure of being properly matched with counterparties. Who is the counterparty? Is the middleman really acting in your best interest? This is not an issue with our Points Marketplace, since everything is handled like an orderbook. One last reminder: To earn points, you can deposit in each of the vaults. For RisexUSDC, there is also a Pendle Pool available. You can LP in the pool or buy/mint YTs (or buy PTs if you don't want points) to accelerate your point accrual even more!
Or you can get paid to farm points: - Lighter - RiseX - Extended - Hibachi - Arcus (soon) all available on Shift
what it costs to farm one point on every perp dex right now? @Lighter_xyz - ~$1-3 @variational_io - ~$10-12 @risextrade - ~$0.8-1.2 @arcus_xyz - ~$0.5-2 @extendedapp - ~$1.5 @hibachi_xyz - ~$0.15-0.25 @pacifica_fi - ~$0.2-0.25 @nadoHQ - ~$0.4-0.5 @entropyIO - no points yet @QFEX - no points yet what i'm doing right now: my main focus is entropy. even without points i trade io pairs only, a couple of trades a day, and hold each one for 12-18 hours i'm also farming lighter and variational the same way, and i want to keep my activity going on risex as well the price is only half of the math. what matters just as much is what the point ends up paying later, and a cheap point on a perp dex nobody uses can still turn out to be a cheap zero my plan is simple: fewer dexs, more size on each one, and more time in the position. points come from holding, not from grinding volume

This means that now you can optimize your setup when farming in a Shift Vault: - do you want to maximize for points? you can buy them on the marketplace (no escrow required, immediate points delivery, no capped upside), and for some vaults you can also buy YTs - do you want to maximize for USDC yield? you can sell your points on the marketplace and immediately receive USDC, and for some vaults you can also buy PTs We will soon add RiseX and Arcus to the marketplace (Arcus once arcusUSD goes live, our new upcoming vault).

It’s incredible how much innovation the guys at @ShiftProtocol_ are bringing to the space. It’s genuinely sad to see them not getting the attention they deserve right now, probably partly due to the overall decline in perp DEX valuations compared to their peak (Variational being the exception). I believe that with hard work and enough time, they’ll eventually get the recognition they deserve. 👏

The state of yields in 2026 is the natural evolution of what it was last year: everybody wants to be a curator, and we are getting more and more RWA yield products on-chain. I think most teams getting in the curation business will soon find out that the margins can be brutal (and will only worsen with the vertical increase in competition) and I expect that in late 2027 we will start seeing some teams abandon the field, with a few solid winners consolidating (not necessarily today's winners). Who will win will need to bet on one or more of the following: - a product edge - own capital deployment - exceptional ability in securing deals There is a lot to build besides Morpho Vaults that distribute to targeted markets, and this doesn't only mean new and more venues and new type of products, but also think how the new technologies can empower your platform. I have a clear idea of what we can build in the next years, there is much work to do.
The state of yields in 2025: 1. Users became even hungrier for yields after Ethena opened the door to tokenizing basis trades first. 2. This, plus yield speculation made available by Pendle (and soon on a whole other level by @boros_fi, from Pendle), brought the game to a whole other level, which now has billions in TVL. 3. The influx of billions in TVL compressed yields all across the space, with sUSDe yielding just slightly more than risk free (us bonds) and being forced to differentiate the capital. 4. Users, now addicted to high returns on sophisticated strategies made simple and disillusioned about the returns of LPing on a dex, especially on concentrated liquidity, are willing to take more and more risk. Users want yields so much that they are willing to deposit their money on a protocol managed by DWFLabs, despite them being notorious shady actors. We at @SHIFTYieldFi are building on this hunger, with a precise North Pole Star in our mind: limited size for higher returns, exploiting pockets of new and persistent alpha. Starting this week, we will begin to roll off the waiting list to prepare to give access to the first outside testers. If you are: - a power farmer - a derivatives DEX interested in liquidity and volumes - just somebody who knows DeFi well and is interested in trying the app and providing feedbacks - literally just an interested user Our DMs are always open.

One good thing of our vaults is that you are getting paid to farm points. We do not have the highest points turnout rate (we prioritize a balanced approach between yield and points) but all of our users got consistent > RFR yields (in some case 2x, 3x RFR) plus points. And if you are a point maxi, you can always go all in our YTs.
everyone posts their perp dex points. nobody posts what they paid for them. so here's mine and the rest of the market farm cost -> predict : @Lighter_xyz - $2.4 -> $15-20. 7x @risextrade - $0.6-0.8 -> $5. 7x @arcus_xyz - $0.5-2 -> $5.5-9. 6x @variational_io - $6-8 -> $30-42. 5x @hibachi_xyz - $0.2 -> $0.2. 1x @nadoHQ - $0.4 -> $0.4. 1x @pacifica_fi - $0.2 -> $0.1. 0.5x top 4 breakdown: > Lighter: bear case $10, bull case $25+. comes down to the $LIT price and when the season ends. $2.4 is my own cost over 2 weeks > RiseX: bear case $3, bull case $8+. cheapest points on the list right now > Arcus: bear case $3.5, bull case $11+. nobody's cracked the most efficient strategy yet, so costs still swing a lot > Variational: bear case $21-25, bull case $57+. the big unknown is total point emissions, the end date is just "Q4" then there's @entropyIO. no points program yet, so no price. but whales, Hyperliquid founders and market makers are already on the leaderboard anything at 1x or below and you're just donating to the protocol. the edge is in your farm cost, not the predict what are you actually paying per point?

As soon as Extended will have completed its migration to Arc, we will complete the deployment of extUSD v2 on Arc. extUSD v2 will not just be a redeploy of extUSD, but it will come with more efficiency, higher yields, and more features, as it adopts the new Shift Vault model.

The fact that Lighter is built to always allow safe exists is one of the core reason we felt confident in building our Lighter vault (21.22% yield this week)
Made a 2 minute explainer on how @Lighter_xyz actually works. Orders match off-chain at exchange speed. Every match gets a ZK proof that Ethereum checks before it settles. If the operator goes dark, desert mode lets you withdraw straight from Ethereum.

Inside Shift's most popular vault: ltLLP Lighter's LLP market-making vault is one of the most popular yield products. However, accessing it and optimizing the returns are not always trivial. To access LLP, users need also to buy and stake LIT, adding token exposure and another position to manage. Shift's vault, ltLLP, brings those steps into a single product, expanding LLP's yield and granting its depositors optimized LLP access. Lighter's returns, made better, and automated management. ltLLP is designed for users who want LLP exposure with the staking and hedging work handled inside the product. Shift's Track Record Shift's ltLLP vault accrued over the course of its 224 days of existence an average lifetime APY of 9.57%, delivering a 5.76% ROI since inception to its day 1 depositors, with a minimal maximum drawdown. How does ltLLP work? ltLLP automatically manages the stake of LIT needed to access LLP, buying it, staking it and hedging it in order to achieve two results: unlock the maximally optimal LLP allocation, given LLP target allocation and LIT basis returns; manage the risk around LIT hedging in face of market volatility. Returns come from LLP performance, LIT staking rewards, and funding on the LIT short. Funding can be received or paid, so it can add to returns or reduce them. Fees and execution costs also affect the result. Any points should the vault accrue, would be passed through in full to the depositors. ltLLP depositors are also eligible for Shift Points.

And if you don't want to deal with getting the yield yourself, we have an automated vault for it!
People should try out @extendedapp multi collateral + can use vault as collateral, for active traders you basically get paid 10% annualised on active capital not sure how people can use an exchange without multi collateral at this point, not efficient

Weekly Update: Super week for hibaUSD as a large price discrepancy allowed for a very profitable arbitrage.
Another week, another APY update ltLLP delivered an outstanding performance this week, reaching almost triple digits thanks to LLP gains and the exceptionally high funding on LIT. vGRVT and risexUSDC also passed the 10% mark, while extUSD stays stable at around 8%.

hibaUSD: another power-up In these months we carefully observed @KappaLab_io Hibachi Vault performance and management and after a very solid summer track record, we're ready to integrate it in hibaUSD. From now on, hibaUSD will allocate a dynamic portion of its NAV (5-10%) to KappaLab's MM Vault on Hibachi. This will result in more diversified revenue engines for the vault, which will become less dependent on funding rates volatility.
