Wouldn't it stimulate our economy just as much if we made those bombs and then dropped them in the ocean?

They almost had me, except for the part about "deter". The only thing they deterred was common sense. Also, they didn't "win" anything
President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had the conviction to call us the Department of War and say it plainly: America’s military exists to deter war through strength and, if necessary, fight and win. The President has acted. Now Congress must finish the job and enshrine the Department of War name in law. foxnews.com/opinion/trump-re…

Communism, socialism, Nazism. They're all just another way to raise up the state and subjugate the rights of the individual

It's almost as if Zelensky had to keep the war going for some reason other than the benefit of Ukraine

For all you "You gotta vote Republican" guys out there, this ain't helping...
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump on Iran: "Somebody said, If you had it to do it again? I said, Are you kidding? I thought gas would be double and triple, and it's a small price to pay." If you’re a millionaire, the price doesn’t concern you... But for ordinary citizens who are just scraping by, it matters A LOT. Writer: Samuel

Best thing about the (expected) Democratic takeover of Congress: Republicans will soon remember how much they hate fiscal irresponsibility

Hard to imagine failing as much as our government does with the most powerful military in the history of the world and the ability to print trillions of dollars out of thin air

Is it just me, or has Iran's ability to terrorize the world been multiplied?
Replying to @Shookout
Or finally doing things that have to be done, like ending Iran’s ability to terrorize the world, even if that costs the midterms.

"Far right vs far left" is a joke argument, a distraction. The real conflict in the world, remains as always, authoritarian government vs the rights of the individual. Almost no one ever expresses relief that it's "my side crushing us under their boots this time"

If you like the idea of paying $120 to save $100, you're probably going to love government
Walmart announced it is combining its Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus memberships into a new $120 annual offer, a move the retailer says could save shoppers nearly $100 a year. abcnews.link/z6OEIJh

The growth happened where markets, incentives, and openness were introduced—not from the remaining central controls. Those were the drag, not the engine. Pure planning never delivered the results.
