My coverage of the Dallas Stars is going to look a bit different this year. I’ll be diving into emerging storylines all season rather than game-by-game analysis. Today’s topic: the unexpected combination emerging as one of Dallas’s top lines.

My official Hometown Remix rankings:
Criteria was: do I like the jersey?
Some teams did a better job at experimenting and delivering something unique to their team/city, even if the end result wasn’t great.
And I’m aware that a few of my top picks are very “jingles keys.”
Very curious how these will look on ice. I think the lighting in these pictures makes them look better.
Love the details in the striping, but otherwise a somewhat meh jersey.
Spoiler Warning: Official listing image of Dallas’s hometown remix Jersey has leaked ahead of the expected reveal later today.

More history for Connor McDavid 🤯
He became the fastest player in NHL history to reach 30 assists in a season, besting the previous mark set by Wayne Gretzky (16 GP in 1984-85). #NHLStats

Hearing Seattle and Nashville working on something that will involve Shane Wright and Matthew Wood.

Rooting for Remi.
He is 25-years old and waiting for his chance in the big league.
10/10 asset management by the Devils.
I like GMs who are not afraid of thinking/doing stuff differently.
We’ll see what happens in DC.

Arttu Hyry scores an empty net goal with 0.3 seconds left in regulation. That's his 4th goal of the season.
3-1 Stars
Columbus is just stack shifts against the Stars late in the third. This has been a less than ideal game for Dallas since the end of the 1st period.
I don’t know if the cap math necessarily works here (there will be teams willing to shell out for Kucherov), but if Kucherov is only looking to join teams that can win, Dallas would certainly be a prime destination.
Would he leave money on the table?
Dallas could this offseason genuinly could wait it out for Kucherov to enter free-agency and have both Robertson and Kucherov.
That is unless Kucherov wants a real extension in place, but I'm not too sure many teams are here and ready to give 20m+ for a 34 year old.

Why did they use normal white on a vintage white jersey 💀
First look at the Toronto Maple Leafs Hometown Remix jersey, featuring a unique leaf vein pattern in the logo and numbers. Thoughts?

Holy shit!
Nikita Kucherov has informed the Lightning organization that he will not be re-signing and would like to be traded, multiple sources have told @FriedgeHNIC. sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/sou…

Boom! Love this. Trey Taylor is a very different player than Capobianco, but also very capable. Aggressive but willing to read the play first. Should be fun.
