Normally Indipoc is the first FULL weekend in October including Thursday....I need to know which weekend attendees want for 2027.

Indipoc has been my baby for 6 years. There are a lot of stressors and a big learning curve with hosting an event like this, but I will continue to do it every year because what we have built is nourishing for the soul. This year had a small twist; the same little girl who shot a gun for the first time at the first Indipoc had homecoming on Saturday night. She said she really wanted a picture with the whole crew so we did the group pic a bit differently this year. It was rushed and some people hadn't yet arrived, some already had to leave and some are just a little camera shy, but we made it happen for her and I'm super appreciative of that.♡ Thank you to everyone who makes this weekend possible including but not limited to my mom and the crew at the farm, Gummi, Jake and QP for keeping everyone alive, LG for the best tacos I could ever eat, Rogal for his many contributions including this year's Dicken drill prize and everyone who pitches in to make each year a little more well-oiled than the last. I still need to unpack my car, but I already can't wait to see everyone again. ♡♡♡♡

Controversial Take: Sydney Sweeney is making money the best way she can...Novig paid for her body to represent their sports betting site....I would argue the majority of sports betting is from men...They wanted someone attractive to represent their brand to put eyes on their company. Is the ad "chauvinistic?" Yeah. I'd say one could make that argument. Was it sexually charged? Again, one could make that argument. Did it set women's sports back? No. LoL It wasn't about women in sports. It was about a half naked blonde putting eyes on a sports betting book that is trying to compete in a fairly saturated/controlled market. Guess what? It worked. She got paid and they got eyes on their brand....And all the ppl saying it set women's sports back were likely the largest contributors to making that happen.
