Just got back from our year 6 residential to @AvonTyrrell . They had a great time. The instructors could not be faulted. Engaged the children and made every activity enjoyable. But, man am I tired.

what is the actual point of KS2 SATs? Do you think they’re a true and accurate reflection of a child’s learning? Or an expensive test designed to catch kids out, a stick to beat schools with and discriminate against children with particular send needs?

I am so tired. Physically mentally and emotionally. My #caretaking assistant left in Dec. We have not had any success replacing them. My split shift day is now a double split shift to cover his role. The recruitment issue in education is not only teaching staff.
