In NYC for the week getting everything together for launch. Have not felt this energized in a long time, forgot what it's like to be tackling something so insanely ambitious. T-30 starts soon

Buzzed to be joining @LayerZero_Core to lead comms and PR 🙌 Interop is already busy and Zero mainnet and lzATLAS land 30 Nov so I’ve got plenty to do between now and then. Let’s go!

I had a great conversation with @PrimordialAA A ton of alpha here. We talked about the projects that he thinks were the best to work with, the future of tokenization and how LayerZero is thinking of returning value to token holders We also got into how Citadel, DTCC and other major trading houses thought about their investment into layer zero. Bryan is an exceptional entrepreneur, and I’m excited to see what they come up with next youtu.be/0LiqT2WEd3Y?is=Am2x…

"Are you ever going to be the back end to a Fidelity?" @PrimordialAA: "So yes, definitely. Multiple similar names are actively involved" ethereum:0x6985884c4392d348587b19cb9eaaf157f13271cd

Fidelity, with $19.9 trillion in assets under administration, now runs its LayerZero verifier on 12 networks, up from seven at its February launch. Ondo Finance was its first user, for tokenized assets moving between chains. @LayerZero_Core

He has it backwards. There hasn’t been any loss of life or personal property damage to speak of in the last 6 months of “unprecedented”acceleration. What has happened though is that a bunch of existing vulnerabilities that would have been open to exploits by adversaries have been exposed and patched. Had they been left open the possibility of loss of life would be higher today.
as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

DTCC, which holds $114 trillion in active issues, is exploring LayerZero's Zero chain for tokenized securities and collateral management. Citadel Securities bought ZRO directly, and NYSE owner ICE is examining Zero. @LayerZero_Core

1/ Today we’re releasing Aerie: fast post-quantum signature aggregation, using lattice-based SNARKs for lattice-based Falcon signatures. On a laptop (CPU only), it aggregates roughly a full Ethereum slot’s worth of signatures (32,768) in 0.65 seconds.

Bullish, the NYSE-listed exchange that traded $48.6B in September, is among the first partners for Open ATLAS, LayerZero's exchange engine on its Zero chain. After venue rebates, 75% of ATLAS fees go to buying and burning ZRO. @LayerZero_Core

Aerie changes that. Built using Akita, our recently announced lattice-based polynomial commitment scheme, Aerie delivers a major performance breakthrough in post-quantum signature aggregation. On a MacBook Pro M4 Max, without GPU acceleration: • 32,768 Falcon-512 signatures aggregated in 0.65 seconds • 16,384 Falcon-1024 signatures aggregated also in 0.63 seconds • 2.1 GiB peak memory usage • 10x faster single-core verification than checking signatures individually

Blockchains rely on cryptographic signatures to verify transactions and establish consensus. Today, systems like Ethereum use BLS signatures, which allow thousands of validator signatures to be efficiently aggregated. The problem? BLS signatures aren't quantum-resistant. And the post-quantum alternatives being standardized today don't support the same native aggregation.

New from LayerZero Research: Aerie. A new system capable of aggregating 32,000 post-quantum Falcon signatures in just 0.65 seconds on a MacBook Pro. ML-DSA, NIST’s standardized default, is already working inside Aerie at high performance. layerzero.network/blog/intro…

LayerZero built Akita, a post-quantum proof scheme, with researchers from a16z crypto, Carnegie Mellon and USC. Its first deployment will be in Jolt, the prover behind the Zero blockchain, with proofs 2x to 3x faster. @LayerZero_Core
