Earlier as Omukama Edward Rukidi Nyabongo officially kicked off the finals of the 5th Edition Tooro Kingdom MTN Amasaza Tournament at the KTC playground. Beyond football, the tournament carried a mission of raising awareness, stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS and working towards a Tooro Kingdom free of HIV by 2040. This was a strategic vision of the late Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, a legacy the Kingdom continues to champion.

Beethoven · Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 III. Adagio molto e cantabile The slow, deeply emotional, and melodious Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, is one of the most beautiful, profound, and spiritually evocative slow movements Ludwig van Beethoven ever wrote.

I'm in #Tooro for the weekend in deep thought about #Uganda Apart from gold, all our other exports have declined this year (tourism, coffee, cocoa, milk, etc) The big contradiction for me is coffee because we have seen increased investment by private Ugandans & some foreigners

The core challenge with Uganda is that our reaction time from #strategy & #execution points of view is often too slow & reactionary We behave as if we are still in 1986. Very little of the state's thinking has evolved to the realities of the global hyper-scaling happening

When you triangulate our economic shock cycles 2007/09 (majorly arsing from global financial crisis) 2012/13 2020/21, 2026/27, you will notice that come 2031 & 2034, we are projected to be having the same conversation, in an even more erratic political environment. Hope I'm wrong
