I've decided to delete my bandcamp account. It hasn't been that profitable and adding and writing up the money is too much of a hassle for taxes than it's worth. As for the music I'm figuring out a way for it to be enjoyed by people.
I've seen comments about what has happened to me and if I'm fine. I'm OK, but posting stuff on youtube has been on hold because of work and life in general. I've noticed a huge positive mood swing and stress reduction after stopping posting stuff. 1/2
Thinking about how I will make my Peggy Suave video without butchering the audio in Resolve. My AE license is old and new one is so expensive...
I think future Peggy Videos will be plane with maybe a logo or something and I will post art stuff here.
I think i will unprivate all vids for now and at the end of december see how the thing has progressed and delete everything that could be seen as whetever FTC thinks kids like
I'm making an google archive of my youtube videos. I can give that to someone who can host it, i guess. They're all videos so I won't covert them to audio only.
I did put my channel "not made for kids", but as of this moment the whole thing is super vague and I'm not even sure if that will help and no, I'm not copping out to remove my old videos as some have said.
Let's all see how this thing turns out. And please leave a comment on the FTC site telling how the law is too vague and dated.
Thinking about places where I can start a new channel. The whole FTC thing is so vague and broad you can basically sue anyone. Peggy Suave is a "Cartoon Character" but it's not for kids. I hope they chance their definitions.
I miss when Youtube was just a place where you could post your art and share it with other people. Now I have tons of videos copyrighted by some random scam companies which are rightfully made by me. Too many to try to combat and they always come back...
I'm sorry that you're not able to listen to some of my older content on my youtube channel, but I don't want to have the chance to get sued or my whole channel closed. I did have my stuff for free on Soundcloud (I had to pay for the up keep) but that's down now too.
