100 caps. One shirt. One country. A thousand emotions. ❤️🇳🇬
To represent my country once is an honour. To do it 100 times is a privilege I will never be able to fully put into words.
Today, my heart is filled with gratitude. To my country — thank you for trusting me, believing in me, and giving me the incredible honour of carrying our colours onto the international stage. Every time I wore this shirt, I knew I was representing something bigger than myself: our people, our dreams, our pride and our beautiful nation.
To the fans — thank you for every cheer, every message, every criticism, every moment you stood behind me. You have given me strength on the best days and lifted me on the hardest ones. I have felt your passion every time I stepped onto that pitch.
And to the media, thank you for telling the story, documenting the journey and holding me accountable throughout these years. Every headline, interview and conversation has been part of this incredible chapter.
And to my teammates, coaches, staff, family and everyone who has walked this journey with me — this milestone belongs to you too.
100 appearances is not just a number. It represents years of sacrifice, unforgettable victories, painful defeats, lessons, friendships, dreams and memories that I will carry with me forever.
I am deeply proud. Deeply grateful. And, above all, deeply honoured.
Thank you for allowing me to serve. Thank you for allowing me to dream. Thank you for allowing me to wear this shirt.
100 times — and I would choose it all over again. ❤️
For the country. For the people. For the badge.
Always. 🇳🇬
Over the past few days, I've reflected on some of the comments I made during a recent interview, and I feel it's important to provide some clarification.
The experiences at Rangers that I spoke about were my own and were based on a particular period in my journey. They should not be taken as a reflection of the current state of this great and historic club. Clubs grow, people change, and I sincerely believe it's important to acknowledge that.
I also want to say, from the bottom of my heart, that my comments were never intended to portray any tribe or group of people in a negative light.
I have always believed in the values of respect, unity, and judging people by their character rather than their background.
I am grateful to the current General Manager/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku, for reaching out to me personally. I appreciated the opportunity to have an open and honest conversation, and I thank him for his understanding and professionalism.
This club will always hold a special place in football, and I have nothing but respect for everyone working hard to move it forward. I wish the club, its players, staff, supporters, and leadership every success for the remainder of this season and for many years to come.
Thank you.

Moses Simon Foundation in partnership with the French Embassy has put together a youth tournament for selected teams, and also a training camp for young girls who are into football.
It will be the third year in a row that French Embassy will be collaborating with the winger, who plays in the French Ligue 1 for Paris FC, and has been in France for six years.
The tournament which will be for teenagers under the age of 17 will take place in Kaduna from 6th of June to the 5th of July. The training camp for girls will also hold around the same time.
Simon is using the tournament to help give back to the society, and also give a platform for players within the age bracket to be scouted for the Nigeria U17 team.
Winners will go home with cash prizes, jerseys, ball and also other items which will be sponsored by the French Embassy and the foundation.
For the girls, there will be no age restriction and it will run for the same period before a final team of 30 players will be picked for a novelty game on the final day of the tournament.
