Enjoyed the conversation!
I talked about the rise of white identity politics and transhuman philosophy with @SimoneHCollins. Full conversation here: youtu.be/M3jyPw0iRYE

What if, by asking Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, God was testing him? While his response showed obedience, Abraham demonstrated a total lack of independent moral judgment, which signaled to God that the Israelites required a FAR more micromanagey covenant (incl no child sacrifice)

The very popular enemies-to-lovers trope starts to look a lot less cute when you look at what women do IRL with hostile occupying forces.

With AI getting sucked into the next major culture war, we're keen to see how the elites of the anti-AI group navigate the hypocrisy of their AI usage (a requirement to maintain a competitive edge). Will they use it with protest? Apologize? Lie about it? Signs point to lying.
Several articles have come out saying AI text detectors discriminate against African writers, that they disproportionately flag them as using AI even when they don't. I tested this. It's not true. AI detection only shows up after AI arrives. Link: cremieux.xyz/p/does-african-…

It's weird enough that people seem to be capable of getting under women's skin by posting fan art of an Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit. What's even weirder, though, is the apparent systematic obfuscation of explanations of the meme.

Biblical accounts agree that: A: God exists, B: He's on our side, C: He wants you to marry a tomboy.

Imagine being one of the police officers who raided the Stonewall Inn and found themselves in a riot. Imagine putting your life on the line to fight the mob, gay exploitation, & police corruption—all for history to frame you as a villain. These officers deserve so much better.
Just when we think we've been historically hoodwinked for the last time, we learn the Stonewall raid wasn't what we had been told. Goodness, what's next? Mother Theresa was cruel? MLK didn't believe in judging others by the content of their character? Ghandi was abusive?

You'd never guess it from most media coverage, but the Strait of Hormuz blockade is functionally over & Iran’s neighbors needn't care what happens to the regime anymore. By trying to hold the world’s oil hostage, Iran ultimately torched one of its few remaining leverage points.

It shouldn't matter what cause you support; it's bad form to: 1. Donate to charities without understanding where and how the money flows and 2. Use people's parasocial relationships with *someone else's character* to fundraise for them. But c'mon guys—you're supporting HAMAS??
I’m glad this is getting more attention. Seeing beloved characters being used to raise money for political purposes and even worse terrorist purposes is heart wrenching. They even use the branding in their announcements.

Combine the Wikipedia vandalism @cremieuxrecueil describes with the "reliable sources" manipulation @tracewoodgrains surfaced in 2024 and you'll see how Wikipedia is used to commit innumerable reality heists, probably daily. Once a reliable source repeats a lie, it becomes real.
My latest article is about how a rogue Wikipedia editor confabulated and misattributed thousands of inventions and concepts to Muslims This trolling made its way into blogs, articles, books, and TV programs. You might even believe some of his lies! Link: cremieux.xyz/p/the-invention…

Nobody prepares parents for the inconvenient names kids give to their toys. After an unfortunate incident in which one of our sons named his red cardinal plushie "Blackface" and another named one of our chickens "Pecker," our daughter chose to name her toy Pteranodon "Tranny"

Also, toy makers, ARE YOU OK? What is going on in your design meetings? We only took home Tranny the pteranodon in an attempt to draw our daughter away from whatever this is. Guess it beats creepy looking dolls, but c'mon, dinos were cool as they were; we don't need this.

I had figured the Girl Scouts skewed progressive, but was shocked when Malcolm told me they give patches for engaging with LGBTQIA+ culture but not equivalent conservative cultures (among other things). Pity that institutions like these have slid so far. Hoping for a revival.

Many people out there have grown up thinking they can't have kids as they're so worried about their family risk of conditions like schizophrenia. That changes now. So cool.
Today we launch NeuroRisk, the first embryo test for autism and schizophrenia that looks for mutations in evolutionarily important genes. These mutations are individually rare but over 10% of people carry at least one mutation in this class.

You know there's something off with the "tradwife" label when the top tradwife influencers disavow it. I personally hold people are just adding meaning to pretty snapshots of domestic life that's simply not there, but Malcolm thinks something else is afoot.

Imagine what poor Malfoid must think when she discovers the fanfiction about her—and fanfiction in general. She thinks muggles are just bumbling fools. Our gleeful depravity runs deeper than even the most sinister Death Eaters could imagine.

Has been a complicated week at home (entire fam home sick), so you'd think Malcolm wouldn't have time to make these in addition to doing a daily podcast + work, but he's plugging songs + earlier videos into Claude w/ the RFab.ai API & it makes 'em. Cheers us up.

There's an odd correlation between sex pests and sex positivity/negativity movements. Basically, if you see someone shouting about the virtues or vices of something sexual (or adjacent; see: fat positivity), odds are high that they're... kinda weird about it behind closed doors.
