My lifelong intellectual goal is to use materialist dialectics to synthesize the fields of dynamical systems and World-Systems analysis. But, if somebody else does it before me, that's fine, I'm really busy doing other stuff
This is like if the Greeks tried to pretend that the horse really was a gift after they already busted out of it
I'm so fucking addicted to sending information about my interests to people who don't care at all I'm so sorry BUT I'm not going to stop

❓ War needs ports. What happens when the workers who run them say no?
🌎 October 30: dockworkers in 100+ ports on four continents do not work for war!
@RadishHarmers please help me incorporate dissipative structures into The Dynamical World System for Third World Liberation

Since this morning, I’ve been unable to leave my home. All checkpoints in H2 and exits from Hebron are closed. Israeli forces have begun demolishing homes and shops near the site of the attack.
Residents are living in fear, cut off from basic necessities.
We urgently call on the UN, international governments, and humanitarian organizations to act now: protect civilians, demand an end to unlawful demolitions and collective restrictions, and ensure safe access to essential supplies and emergency services.
Hebron must not be forgotten. We need urgent action, not just statements of concern.

Liberalism is SO fucking stupid and contradictory it feels like a clown show
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

It’s worth clarifying something as folks are sharing news of the West Bank being “shut down”. Importantly, it is not the entire West Bank which is shut down—it is Palestinian cities, towns, and villages. Settlers are free to travel through open roads and checkpoints, as always.

To whom it may concern: A third famine is looming in Gaza—a matter of extreme gravity that cannot be met with silence.
