𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗠𝗙𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗡 Following our previous statement, we would like to provide an update regarding the actions taken by the organization and the subsequent decision concerning the JMFyang Lucena Chapter. 𝟭. 𝗪𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. As soon as the incident came to our attention, members of the JMFyang Official core team reached out to Jericho to ask for his side and to better understand the circumstances surrounding what happened. It was important for us to hear directly from him because none of the members of the core team were part of the group chat involved in the incident. We wanted to ensure that any action or conclusion made by the organization would be based on a fair and proper review of the circumstances, rather than incomplete information. Unfortunately, despite our efforts to reach out, we did not receive a response from Jericho at that time. 𝟮. 𝗔 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬. On September 30, JMFyang Official formally sent a Suspension Letter to Jericho. This was done to provide him additional time and a formal opportunity to explain his side, while also making the organization's position clear: we do not tolerate sexualization, objectification, harassment, disrespect, or any conduct that violates the dignity and personal boundaries of others. Despite this formal communication, we still did not receive a response from Jericho. We only became aware of his position last Thursday, after he released his own statement without first communicating with the organization regarding the matter. 𝟯. 𝗝𝗠𝗙𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗠𝗙𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿. After considering the circumstances, including our repeated attempts to communicate with Jericho and the lack of response to the organization's efforts to address the matter internally, JMFyang Official has decided to dissolve the JMFyang Lucena Chapter, effective immediately. This decision was not made lightly. Our initial approach was to allow the matter to be properly reviewed and to give the Chapter Admin an opportunity to explain his side before a final decision was made. However, despite the organization's efforts to establish communication and resolve the matter through proper administrative channels, our attempts were not reciprocated. As a result, after careful consideration of the circumstances, we have determined that the dissolution of the Lucena Chapter is the appropriate organizational action at this time. 𝟰. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗠𝗙𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 To continue serving our members and Besties in Quezon Province, the coverage of the JMFyang Mauban Chapter will be expanded. To our Besties who were previously members of the Lucena Chapter and still wish to remain part of JMFyang Official, you may coordinate with the Mauban Chapter so you can be added to the appropriate group. Besties from Quezon Province are welcome to join and be accommodated under the expanded Mauban Chapter. We want to assure our members that the dissolution of the Lucena Chapter does not mean that you are being removed from the JMFyang Official community. We remain committed to providing a proper and organized community for everyone. 𝟱. 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 All funds, documents, records, and other assets held or maintained under the name of the JMFyang Lucena Chapter will be subject to turnover to JMFyang Official. Likewise, prior transactions involving the Lucena Chapter and Jericho are currently being discussed and coordinated for proper turnover and handling by JMFyang Official. We are taking steps to ensure that organizational records, funds, documents, and other chapter-related assets are properly accounted for and transferred. 𝟲. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 For clarity, individuals who previously transacted with the Lucena Chapter or with Jericho may exercise their own discretion regarding whether they wish to continue any personal or private transactions with the individuals involved. However, JMFyang Official, its affiliates, and its other chapters will not be responsible or liable for any transactions, commitments, collections, or arrangements entered into independently with the former Lucena Chapter, Jericho, or any individuals associated with it following the dissolution of the chapter. We strongly encourage everyone to exercise caution and ensure that any transaction they enter into is clearly understood to be separate from JMFyang Official. 𝟳. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲. The dissolution of the Lucena Chapter does not change our fundamental position. JMFyang Official does not tolerate sexualization, objectification, harassment, or disrespect toward JM, Fyang, or anyone else. We also believe that accountability and organizational decisions must be based on fairness, proper review, and respect for all parties involved. We also continue to strongly oppose the use of AI. Technology does not remove an individual's responsibility to respect another person's dignity, privacy, and boundaries. We understand that this situation may bring strong emotions within the fandom. However, our responsibility as an organization is to uphold the standards we have established and to take appropriate action when those standards are not met. To all our Besties in Lucena and Quezon Province, thank you for your understanding and continued support. We especially want to assure our former Lucena Chapter members that there remains a place for you within JMFyang Official. You may coordinate with the JMFyang Mauban Chapter for your continued participation in our community. We will continue to prioritize respect, accountability, transparency, fairness, and the protection of personal boundaries as we move forward.
