Huge problems coming this week re: housing for asylum seekers in Glasgow - and with no warning for support services to prepare. Below a thread with links to orgs that will be picking up the pieces if you're able to offer practical or financial support. The need will be urgent.
“A private firm housing thousands of refugees in Glasgow says it will start evicting up to 300 people who have been told they cannot stay in Britain.” In Scotland policy for asylum seekers is “Integration from day 1.” This cuts right across it. Horrendous heraldscotland.com/news/1638…

So sorry to hear this news.
Steve Harrison (and Annie Dearman) were stalwarts of our 3rd Thursday sessions. A wonderful musician, singer, historian and friend who’ll be very much missed.
Our love and thoughts are with Annie and family x
