Slightly less graphic (less cropped, basically, and a different angle) shot of the poor tail-less squirrel.
R/T this and SHAME the royal parks for their barbaric torture of sentient life!
A few days late, but sad news...Jeannie, one of my 5 kitties (who are now almost 2 years old) had to be put down on Tuesday tue to a saddle thrombus (blood clot, which caused her back legs to fail). I would give far more details, but Twitter limits post length.
We miss her!
One other update from me, this is Charlie the original cat of the house before Pepper and her babies came along. Sadly he died on 31st January, and it seems I never posted that update here (to be fair, Twitter isn't what it once was...still waiting for Muskrat to sell!)
I wasn't particularly worried about these pictures, but have had the laptop sitting in storage safe until I could be bothered trying to fix it...and now I have, I've got the pictures back :-)
Anyone who knows Llandudno will know the weather can be nasty at times, and it wasn't great on this day...but I still got some nice pics in a local bird sanctuary, and they're editable at least!
A little over 2 years ago (27th April 2023) I was on holiday in Llandudno and took some photos...one day of those photos was moved over to a laptop to make space on the camera, then the laptop went weird.
With the help of ChatGPT, I managed to regain access to its drive
Perhaps except for a certain little lady with a beauty spot...she's still a complete dope at times!
Massively hyperactive and unpredictable, always arguing with the others and often bullied by them...but unbearably loving at times too! And Patch is practically perfect now!
Been a year (almost) since I posted this, and since I posted...little update for you!
They're all still alive, despite me wanting to throttle the little sods at times (love them really, of course!) and they've turned into highly intelligent adults with stronger personalities!
The rugrats are in the vets now to get the snip...will get peace and quiet at home for the next 5-6 hours until they come home again, after which I get peace and quiet at home because they're all still zonked out from the anaesthetic :-)
Sadly it was not the case...they came home ~5 hours later and all the boys were fully recovered and ready to create havok. The girls weren't quite so quickly back to normal, but Jeannie definitely recovered quicker than Patch (who has been napping or resting most of the day)
Goodbye cruel X!
Okay, I'm not quitting entirely, I've just removed the Twitter app from my phone...the moment I saw a "for you" message that contained the words "Trump says", I knew they really couldn't care less about me (I have Trump blocked, it isn't hard to work out)
Photo is of Tiger, posing while leaning on my leg late at night (we all know how weird he is!). I did weighing today, and Tiger gained an average 50g per day for past 3 days just so he could be back at #1 spot, 100g heavier than his sister Poppy!
Day 106 (yesterday was their 15th week) and here's a shot of Tiger the fatty.
On Wednesday they go in for a checkup and the "kitten pack" (everything but neutering, which costs extra). Should have done it already, but better late than never!

Mama Pepper, taken earlier today. It's past midnight as I write this, and she is in the other bedroom for the night without any food (yes, there's water) as she's going to the vet's tomorrow (in about 10 hours) to be spayed.
She's going to be one hungry little kitty tomorrow!
Little bitch is no longer a little bitch...still isn't really eating (that is normal at first) but she happily wolfs down her treats. Apart from being less active, she is back to her normal self again.
Still doesn't want to see her babies for long periods of time
