Spec-Fic Small Press Rundown #4.5

#SmallPitch We’re back again with another entry in…wait, this isn’t quite that. Instead of a small press, today I want to highlight #SmallPitch, a twice-yearly chance for (mostly unagented) writers…

As #SmallPitch is around the corner, we have a couple of updates! 1) You can now select "Sapphic Fiction" as a genre for your manuscript. This is per one of our participating publisher's request. So if your book is sapphic, check that box!

2) The pitch request form for publishers now includes a field for them to indicate the expected response time, when to nudge, etc. We've asked them to respond to all subs. We can't enforce it, but we hope most will or will at least indicate if "no answer after X time is a no."
