“it’s a way to let people into my brain.” day three: the creator of Inkblade @GFunkyTheAnimal. he makes music, sculpts clay and cement, and spent years imagining a game drawn entirely in thin black lines. now you can walk around in it. even the ink in your sword moves when you shake it. the first player to beat it got a place in a secret room inside the game. but my favorite part is the guy who calls himself a lone wolf getting DMs from players saying “i don’t make friends very easy.” his answer: “me neither. but this is great.” i’ll let him tell it:

been said before but it's interesting how openai has taken a long, distracted path (imagegen! sora! dots!) while anthropic has been laser-focused on the goal of an automated swe colleague since 2021 yet they're neck and neck anyways

a funny thing to look for in an ai game demo: a link to actually play it. spawn creators post theirs. then they post their player numbers next. tiger went from 714 to 9,721 players in a week. smallzero nearly doubled to 5,124.
