I guess I made my comment while looking at what it says about Hangman, whereas you did it while looking at the outside consequences.

Idk. I think both are bad, because one shows he knows it's wrong and does it anyway - hiding their friendship - and the other shows he either doesn't see what Marty did as serious (or doesn't care how serious it was) or he doesn't care at all that fans will be upset.

"hangman didn’t post the photo marty did" That doesn't make it better. It suggests that Hangman would never have posted that picture because he knew it was wrong and people would be upset. As if he was intentionally hiding their friendship. That makes it worse.

No one is policing who he hangs out with. They're JUDGING who he hangs out with and rescinding their support of him because of it. He can hang out with Scurll if he wants to and at the same time people can think he shouldn't and that he now no longer deserves their support.
