Shoutout to our partner Booster(@EnergyDelivered) who gave attendees at the @AbilitiesExpo a boost. We love seeing #accessible fueling.
Gas stations remain among the most inaccessible public places. The ADA brought us a long way, but accessible fueling options are still missing for the nearly 800,000 Californians with a mobility disability.
Disappointed in the California legislature’s lack of action with AB905 despite 5,000+ letters & action by disability rights advocates. @laurafriedman43 the future of fueling should include mobile fuel delivery. Fueling must be accessible to all Californians.
“There are many people with disabilities who don’t drive because of the accessibility barriers they face, including at gas stations. This is a problem that needs more awareness.” - @spazgirl11

“I would hope that [mobile fueling] would be important to everyone… to help those [with disabilities] who can drive.” - Mercy, Student Activist
Support independence, support AB 905.
“A person with a disability has to plan almost everything about their life that you probably don’t even think about. ... we spend more time planning things than we do being able to just be independent.” - @RollingStartInc's ED Lisa Hayes
Support independence, support AB 905.
The ADA requires gas stations to provide reasonable accommodations, but many stations struggle to follow the rules. Mobile fueling is the most accessible solution for drivers with disabilities.

What does your independence mean for you?
“Mobile fueling can make driving a more independent and accessible experience for drivers [with a disability].”

Tell your legislators to pass AB 905 and bring accessibility and equity to the fueling experience.
How would mobile fueling help you?
It doesn’t have to be so difficult for drivers with disabilities to fill their tanks. Mobile fueling is a solution for disabled drivers across California. Tell legislators to pass AB 905 & bring accessibility & equity to the fueling experience. How could mobile fueling help you?
Show your support for AB 905 & stay tuned for updates from our advocates, including @AnastasiaSomoza & @KumiROCKS, demonstrating why offering people with disabilities an alternative to the gas station is the only way to make filling up truly accessible.

While the ADA requires gas stations to provide reasonable accommodations, many struggle to follow the rules or choose to ignore them altogether. Mobile fueling is the most accessible solution for drivers with disabilities.
Did you know gas station pump handles & buttons have more germs per square inch than the average toilet seat? Mobile fueling is the only 100% contactless way to fuel your vehicle, so it naturally limits the spread of viruses and bacteria.

Without consistent access to fueling, drivers with disabilities are left to depend on gas station attendants. There is no reason to be forced to rely on others while mobile fueling exists for people with disabilities who drive. californiansforsmartfueling.…
