In fresh research we launch today, we reveal the fact that hundreds of refugee children in the UK are being mistakenly judged by the Home Office to be adults. As a result, these vulnerable children are being placed at risk of abuse and neglect. THREAD🧵#ChildrenNotAdults

Truly appalled by Government’s cruel decision to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, a policy in stark contrast to what every Conservative Prime Minister since Churchill has sought to do by providing a fair hearing on British soil for those who claim asylum.

This #Christmas we think of those who are excluded.
Conflicts, COVID, the climate emergency, many refugee crises and the world’s inequalities are worsening their plight.
Inclusion is the best protection for those whom the global crises leave behind.
At Christmas, we include.

Not surprised that Germany values its 1.7million refugees. People with resources, initiative, courage & determination to cross mountains & seas to seek safety & a new life are extraordinary. UK must learn! thenation.com/article/world/…
