Hey @SW_Help - am trying to claim delay repay for a journey on May 22, probably the worst day I've had on the railways for 20 years. I've been refused despite a 2 hour delay. Is there a way I can send some free text, as I need to explain an unusual set of circumstances?

I'm bored of this now as it's like arguing with a flock of pigeons. But this comment, which originated in a difference of opinion about seeing an image of a black man fighting in the English Civil War, made me chuckle.

Who can tell me what Wren was initially imprisoned in the Tower for?
Replying to @arthistorynews
And people like Bishop Matthew Wren are imprisoned for many years. But Wren vows that if he survives he will pay for ‘some holy and pious employment’ - and decides it will be the new chapel at Pembroke.

It is wet out there and the shop is quiet…
Anyone wrapped up at home (fair enough…) and want to support an independent book shop trying to build a dream space for nature, landscape, history and heritage literature?

Legal folk, let’s say you needed to put in a small claim against a really terrible company. Let’s say they were called @AirbnbHelp - (it’s just a name).
Let’s say you were resident in the U.K. but the let was in the EU. Which jurisdiction would you need to use?
(Goes without saying that @AirbnbHelp is a very terrible company and they should never be used. The old ‘hotels with chores’ joke always strikes me as completely unfair to hotels).
Just to be clear, I’m saying that @AirbnbHelp are really bad. Terrible company. Seriously, just book a hotel or an old fashioned let. Way better.
