This week at @gofar_fira we got to see up close all the ag tech, robotics, and automation that have been creating new opportunities for growers. It also gave us an opportunity to catch up with our service provider partner, @stevemantle from @Innov8Ag, and listen in on his panel session “Technology Needs and Opportunities in Agriculture”. Thanks to Steve and the Innov8 team for their contributions. #FIRAUSA #AgTech

Paul is on the road along the U.S. West Coast, exploring the innovations, challenges, and opportunities driving agriculture forward! So far, he’s attended the California AgTech Alliance Annual Convening and the @THRIVEAgriFood Global Impact Summit, and this week he’s at @gofar_fira. It’s been a diverse trip, with conversations spanning farmer perspectives, emerging technologies, and new opportunities across the agtech industry. He’s also had a chance to catch up with some of our #SoilOptix partners and connect with new faces along the way. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of these conversations and connections!

If certain areas of your field consistently produce strong results, there may be something worth learning from them. Differences in pH, nutrient levels, texture and other soil properties can help explain why certain areas perform better than others. With #SoilOptix, high-resolution soil mapping gives you and your agronomist a more detailed look at the variability across your field. Comparing both your overperforming and underperforming areas with the same level of attention can help uncover patterns that aren't always visible from the cab. Next time you’re looking at your best-performing acres, #AskYourAgronomist what your soil might be telling you about why they’re doing so well.

Every field has its own unique patterns, variations, and challenges. SoilOptix® helps bring those differences into focus with high-resolution soil data, giving growers a more detailed view of what’s happening across their fields. With 335 data points per acre and 25+ individual soil property layers, you can move beyond field averages and make decisions based on the variability that’s actually there. A look back at last year’s Better Farming feature with AGRIS and Dale Cowan, exploring how soil sampling has evolved and where technologies like #SoilOptix fit into the process. As sampling practices become more detailed, so does our ability to see what’s happening across a field. Understanding that variability can help identify where nutrient management approaches may need to change, rather than treating the whole field the same. f.mtr.cool/w3e7dar7is @agris_coop @SCSAgronomy @BetterFarmingON

High or low soil pH is a sign that something is out of balance, but knowing where the issue exists is an important first step. As AgPhd explains here, a complete soil analysis can help uncover the complex nutrient relationships contributing to varying pH levels. #SoilOptix takes that approach a step further with high-resolution soil mapping, helping growers and agronomists see how soil properties and essential nutrients vary across a field and identify areas that need attention. Visit soiloptix.com to learn how our high-resolution maps can help you get a clearer picture of what’s happening in your soil.
A complete soil analysis is the first step to correcting soil pH.

And that’s a wrap on Canada’s @OutdoorFarmShow! We had a great few days at the show meeting growers, ag professionals, and plenty of familiar faces. A lot of our conversations came back to soil variability, better data, and putting that information to work in the field. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello and learn more about #SoilOptix. We appreciate the conversations and look forward to continuing them beyond the show. #COFS2026

It’s the final day at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show! This week has brought great conversations and a shared interest in understanding soil at a deeper level. Every farm has its own soil story, and we appreciate everyone who stopped by to share theirs. We’ll be at booth AP-C2 inside the FCC tent for the rest of the day, ready to talk soil. #COFS2026

Over the past few weeks @paulraymer9 has been busy! He attended @AgVenturesAllia’s AgTech Field Day, The Farm Progress Show (@FPShow), and @OntAg’s Great Ontario Yield Tour Final Event. It was a good mix of conversations, field demonstrations, and fresh looks at what’s changing across agtech and modern farming. Each event offered its own perspective on where the industry is heading.

Rise above the guesswork and make every decision with clearer confidence. Every field has its own story buried beneath the surface, and #SoilOptix helps you reveal it. Precision ag starts from the ground up. See what your soil has to say.

"I've worked this land for years. I know it pretty well." Nobody knows a field like the person who's walked it every season. But soil doesn't always show its hand. It can vary from acre to acre, much more than most growers expect. That's the gap #SoilOptix fills. Not to second-guess your experience, but to back it up with a picture you couldn't get any other way. Learn more about our process at SoilOptix.com.

#GreenFarmingFriday! As growing conditions continue to change, farmers are adapting their practices to respond to rising temperatures and shifting weather patterns. A recent Reuters article looks at how farmers in Britain and Japan are adjusting their approaches to navigate increasingly challenging conditions. Every field responds differently to changes in heat, moisture, and other environmental conditions. Having a clearer understanding of the soil beneath each field gives growers another layer of insight when considering how to manage those differences. Soil mapping can help reveal this variability, providing field-specific information that supports more informed decisions as growing conditions continue to evolve.
