Thank you @ClimateJobsNY and @NYCBldgTrades for organizing such an informative tour of the union training facilities!
I had a blast trying my hand at welding during a tour of @steamfitters638’s training center! It was great to see firsthand how union apprenticeship programs give New Yorkers the hands-on skills and experience to build successful careers. Skilled trades are an essential part of our workforce, and it was a pleasure to learn more about the work being done to train the next generation.

Great conversation with @NYSOCFS and Long Island providers. Thank you @CNGuidance and @CarrieSolages for joining us. Our children and families deserve nothing less.
Our COO, Nancy Manigat was pleased to join a recent Roundtable discussion with Dr. DaMia Harris-Madden, Commissioner of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services @NYSOCFS .
Hosted by Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages (@SolagesNY) , with Nassau County Legislator @CarrieSolages in attendance, the discussion provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the challenges facing providers, learn more about OCFS initiatives, and discuss investments aimed at improving the lives of children and families across Long Island.
Thank you to everyone involved for the important conversation and continued commitment to our communities!

Got hands-on with welding during my visit to @steamfitters638 Training Center!
It gave me a whole new appreciation for the skill and training that goes into this work. Great to see how union apprenticeships are preparing New Yorkers for good-paying careers in clean energy.
Every dollar counts for families right now. We hosted a workshop at Elmont Memorial Library to share energy saving tips, rebates and free home assessments. Missed it? My office is here to help connect you to these programs. 💡 liherald.com/franklinsquare/…

New Yorkers deserve fair prices, not personalized price hikes designed to squeeze every last dollar out of our wallets. That’s why I introduced the One Fair Price Act to ban surveillance pricing in New York.
Corporations are using our browsing history, location, shopping habits—even when our paychecks clear—and thousands of other personal data points to calculate the highest price we’ll pay.
That means the same product could cost you more simply because an algorithm thinks you’ll pay it. When families are struggling to afford groceries, medication, and basic necessities, corporations shouldn’t be allowed to exploit our data to drive prices higher.
And 80% of New York voters agree: they want surveillance pricing banned, not simply disclosed according to polling from @DataProgress and @Groundwork .
Our bill has passed both houses of the Legislature, with nearly 70 co-sponsors and support from our @NewYorkStateAG from day one. Now, I’m joining my colleagues in urging Governor Hochul to sign it into law. It’s time to stop allowing corporations to weaponize our data against us during an affordability crisis. New Yorkers deserve better.
Praying for Pope Leo XIV as he recovers from surgery today.
His early diagnosis is a reminder of how much screening and early detection matter. 🙏🏾

Every person who calls New York home deserves to be counted!
Trump’s proposed Census changes could exclude millions of people and cost New York congressional representation and federal funding.
