-2524 does not require probation/social workers revoke a permit when the job affects the minors health
Schools have to provide minors with workers rights info when they apply for a permit b/c AB 800, not 2524. Social workers will be writing permits without knowing child labor law and no responsibility to revoke a permit in bad job situations. Schools don’t have capacity to revoke

@SashaReneePerez with no funding ,AB 2524 will create chaos with work permits and consign vulnerable minors to low wage dead end jobs. It doesn’t require minors to return to school to get a work permit and doesn’t prepare them for the workplace like EC 49130 already does.
