#Clayface was more gory revenge story than horror, but I enjoyed it a lot. Sad main theme music and a number of needledrops held back some of the otherwise unsettling moments. Tone-wise it felt like an episode of Batman TAS, but with a modern setting and R-rated. The final form🫶

Brad Bird is saying what MANY of my colleagues and I have been saying for practically 2 decades now. A lot of people YEARN for the return for more 2D theatrical animation. We shouldn’t abandon it.
Brad Bird says he’s happy with the final CG animation of ‘RAY GUNN’, but also thinks Hollywood has turned against 2D animation.
“Studios think audiences won’t accept that... I don’t agree that hand-drawn animation isn’t commercial.”
