....because how will they know how much you tried if you didn't make it? So, don't just try, make it happen. Spend the sleepless nights, eat one meal a day, do the research, fall and rise, but make it happen🤝

… and sometimes that takes you leaving him. I can’t guarantee you the same would have happened if you stayed 🥲
In 2022, had a guy who was unemployed and broke. He was financially unstable and my friends kept telling me that if I accepted and married him, I would be stuck in poverty forever. I broke up with him in late 2022. In 2023, he got a job in URA. Just in 2 years, he had started built a house and was doing well financially. Till date, I know I shouldn’t have left him. Being financially unstable is not a permanent position. Anytime, anyone can snap out.

This guy is made from an oak tree😄😄 What kinda aging is this?😄😄
After work last night, I challenged my Bazukulu to an indoor work-out. We did Forty Push-ups. Just like I have always advised, even at your own home, you can stay safe, and remain fit and healthy.

I still remember his speech like it was yesterday. While at an OB’s day at Ntare School (I was a student then), @KagutaMuseveni, whom I got to learn much later that he is known to blame everyone else except himself, told us that previous governments had completely failed us. He reiterated that those governments pretended to work but couldn’t even trace the wealth beneath our soils, not until the NRM government came, and finally discovered the oil. This was the first time I heard the statement “my oil”, around 2013. 13 years later, myself and H.E. are yet to see the oil. Aside from failing to deliver on time, I am surprised we didn’t even discover the oil.😂

Has it ever come to your mind that instead of cooling your tea before drinking, you can simply add a reasonable amount of cold water to put it at the exact temperature you want it?

Better standards of living altogether, given they don't have to deal with the mediocrity we have at every point here... from the president down to the LC Chairperson. I would still opt to live here at home, though 😄😄
People romanticise living abroad but besides making money what do they have over us at home base?🤣

Are you passionate about reading... and I mean deep immersive reading? Are you interested in understanding what kind of insights have risen from 10+ years of research across Africa? Check out @Vanguard_Econ's Substack via vanguardeconomics.substack.c… I'm setting aside time to read these in my festive season holidays. I'm not quite good with reading if I am busy😄😄

There is nothing like a struggle!!!! There is just this foolish kraal (country) we are all living in. Among us are those who are willing to convert it into a house, and those that are happy to live in it the way it is. Cows, I assume!!
Is there any other foolish Ugandan who still believes in the struggle 🤨 Let me see you in comment section

AAA should not see this one🤣🤣
If you want to understand why Africa is like this, just look at most of our male leaders. This is why colonizers had to kill matriarchy in Africa. Because women leaders were more competent. They were accountable. You couldn't just bribe them to sell the whole village. So what did colonizers do? They replaced them with greedy, corrupt men. Men they could control. And that system never left. Look at the King of Eswatini. His people don't have roads. They don't have hospitals. 70% of the country lives in poverty. Eswatini has the highest HIV rate on earth and people are dying of hunger. And what is the King doing? The man has 15 wives. He spent $24.4 million to buy 19 Rolls-Royces for them. 19! Delivered in trucks like he was sharing rice. In a country where people can't afford bread. And that was not even enough. That same year, he bought 79 BMWs. Then weeks later, another 120 BMWs. Meanwhile he already had 20 Mercedes Maybachs and a private jet he bought for himself for his 50th birthday. This is the mentality. Let the people suffer, let them die of AIDS and poverty, as long as the wives have Rolls-Royces. This is the African male leadership we inherited. And until we change it, nothing will change.

My guy😅 So, you think Gen. Muhoozi will read this or any good piece elsewhere and suddenly realize he did something wrong? We all know he's not new to these "very good and highly respectful" scenarios.
Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s reported decision to strip Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu of his military ranks and demote him to Private raises serious questions about military discipline, due process and the rule of law. As a General, Muhoozi should understand that the difference between a professional commander and a personal rival is the ability to separate personal feelings from institutional responsibility. If Gen. Elwelu is suspected of treason, misconduct or any other offence, let the relevant authorities investigate, present evidence and follow the law. Publicly labelling a fellow General a traitor, threatening his life and announcing punishment before the public has been shown the legal basis risks turning military command into an instrument of personal confrontation. A General does not prove his strength by humiliating another General; he proves it by respecting the institutions that give his rank legitimacy. Uganda needs a disciplined army, not a military leadership where social media declarations appear to replace established procedures. If Elwelu has committed an offence, let him answer for it before the competent authorities. If disciplinary action is justified, let the lawful process speak. Muhoozi must remember that the uniform represents an institution, not an individual’s anger. Today, it is Elwelu; tomorrow, it could be another officer. The question is whether Uganda is governed by established rules or by the public declarations of powerful individuals. The allegations surrounding Elwelu’s past conduct, including the Kasese killings, deserve serious and lawful scrutiny. But accountability must not become selective, personal or arbitrary.

Yesterday I sent 21k to a wrong MTN number and when I called the person to ask for a refund the guy told me xtra cash had chopped the money to recover their loan. However he was quick to add that now they only demand him 9k to complete the loan amount so if I have 9k I should send it to his number we complete the old loan and then he borrows again since his loan limit will even be higher. That way he assured me he would send me back what is mine and keep the rest if any, but most importantly to him he would get some breathing space from the loan. Since I wanted my 21k back I sent him the extra 9k bringing the total money he owed me to 30k but man immediately the guy received the extra 9k he first stopped picking my calls and then eventually blocked me. That is how I lost my hard earned 30k over an MTN debt I knew nothing about to someone I didn't even know. When I tried contacting him through a different line he abused me big words only 😭💔

I just finished watching "Bobi Wine: The People's President" and I can confirm that we deserve the suffering we are going through. We deserve the potholes & accidents that have come with them, the taxes, the nepotism, the unemployment, the visa restrictions. Our children deserve to be abducted. We deserve every bill and oppression we are going through. We all deserve our fate! Give @KagutaMuseveni 5 more terms🤝
