Hi Ashish Sood here, GP at Curious Ventures.
Curious Ventures is a $10M pre-seed fund, and one of the only venture funds that lives with its founders.
How we work
We move into residencies, founder houses and network states, live alongside the builders there, and back the ones on the way up. We live with the founder before we invest in the founder, then put our whole ecosystem to work to help them grow.
What we back
Founders on the way up, in the category they choose to build.
First checks at pre-seed.
Where we are
• Fund I is live. First check wired in July into Amplify (AI content creation at scale), met in person at Network School
• 600+ founders met face to face, 110+ deep 1:1s
• Next stop:
•Sri Lanka - 27th September to 3rd October
•Singapore - 4th October to 10th October.
•Edge City India, Goa, 11 Oct to 1 Nov
If you're building something, running a residency, or just want to swap notes, my DMs are open.

Perks of being around for @JoinEdgeCity
Had a great breakfast with LightDao

Been trying to make the first proper hire at Curious for weeks.
I'm looking for someone rare: someone who understands media, believes in network states, and wants to build a career in venture.
The job is distribution and operations for the fund.
If you've run a residency or a founder house and documented it, we should talk.
@JoinEdgeCity @ns - if you have been to one of these, I would like it more.
Work must go on
Life must go on.
Happy Sunday.
Time to visit the Eco ashram @build3_startups
With the @AquaZero0 team

Dozens of founders in India told me the same thing.
Their customers are on TikTok in America and they can’t even open the app.
Today that changes.

What I can see is a lot of things being built around options trading.
I was surfing around the HL ecosystem to find players building in the theme.
Happy to chat with teams that are doing something here.
Spent a few days in Bangalore and had a chance to meet a few builders from this cohort.
Things are brewing for sure
Seeing @vc35 Varun talk about @build3_startups with so much passion. Is why I know residency as concept is here to stay.
Looking forward to the visit to the build ashram this weekend.
Great to hear @JacksonSteger talk about @ns at @JoinEdgeCity
