Rest in Peace Bob. I had the honor of his friendship late in his life. I along with my friend James helped him find a bigsby equipped all gold parts 1956 Les Paul. ( similar to the guitar in this photo) He could not have been nicer and more excited to string it up with 13 gauge strings and play music on it. I told him that there was only one alteration on the guitar itself. The guitar had a very old sticker of two aces on the original pick guard. He politely reminded me that his most successful solo album was called "Ace". 🤷‍♂️😎 Sometimes things are meant to be and the world works in mysterious ways. A true legend and someone who chased it until the very end.
